Basically a company is in need to further modify a web based portal that's been developed using PHP and is looking for a reliable freelancer / company that is able to make this happen within a timely manner.

We have ideas and structure of the new system which require modifications to the current. However we need someone who can do it.

Unable to share internet via WIFI

I used to be able to share internet via WIFI using Windows Internet sharing.

I'm using screamyx.

Previous setting :

Connect to streamyx via dial-up in Windows.
Then set up dial up internet sharing to WIFI.
WIFI set security disabled - when connect to wifi, i get ip address like 192.168.0.XXX

Now due to some problem i cannot do dial up anymore (says trying to connect forever).

So I configured router to access internet from PPPOE (dulu bridged mode).

Now how can i share internet to WIFI again? I'm getting ip address like 168.XXX.XXX.XXX

Guys, I've emailed wordpress but still no response from them. I can't post any new blogs at the moment as it's been disabled.

They sent me a warning that says

Warning: We have a concern about some of the content on your blog. Please click here to contact us as soon as possible to resolve the issue and re-enable posting.

As far as I know, I don't post pirated stuffs there nor anything that seems illegal. I read the TOS and one of it says that we can't post our blog link to other blogs nor forums as an act of advertising?

If I can't do that, how in the world does I get traffic to my website? By distributing hardcopy fliers to my neighbours??? I don't post for nothing, only for issues which are related to my site content, I will usually post a straight link to the specific post to my blog instead of reiterating what's already in there.

Oh yes, I don't specifically point to that excuse, but that's the only thing I can think of why they have frozen my account.

Item(s) conditions: It's a very nice phone, but lately got issues of hanging. But still can work if get the battery out, press soft reset a few times, then put battery in and it will work. Just that sometime it will hang - I put a piece of paper at battery, heard others did this and hang not that much.. not sure if just placeboo effect or not but i guess it worked a bit....

This phone comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Diamond Skin (touchflo 2d), GPS ok, phone ok, camera ok, Wifi ok, bluetooth ok, speaker ok, mic ok, all ok except it hangs sometimes.

Condition like usual 2nd hand phones, wear and tear at the sides of the phone, scratches at the back oso. Get yourself a new casing or a silicon protector if want to look nice.

THIS CASE IS VERY TRUE BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE …..

My mother just past away (Chinese New Yr 2009), me & my father was very sure
that we are the Penama dalam kwsp because my mother happens to told us before
she past away after she checked at KWSP. so I went to kwsp (4 Feb 2009) to claim
my mother’s money tapi officer kwsp said my mother tak pernah letak penama.

I was so confuse sebab 2 tahun lepas (yr 2007) I ikut my mother to check penama kwsp
and update then my mother told me “Kalau jadi apa2 kat mak, Yanti kene uruskan duit mak”.
My father also told us that my mother said to him 2 months before she past away (yr 2008)
“I dah update penama KWSP nama you (my father) & Yanti.

Kalau jadi apa2 kat I pandai2lah you uruskan duit I for our children”.
Just imagine our frustration when we were told that my mother’s money have to go to Amanah Raya………… the procedure…………. So many steps…………after that we were told that we have
to pay Amanah Raya certain percentage (I not remember how many percent) from
my mother’s money for admin fee……

Please be careful…. Check your nomination yearly to avoid things like this…..
we were so devastated when we lost our mother….. then this things happen……….
for more than 30yrs my mother work, senang2 je KWSP boleh buat kerja macam ni……
so kita kene berhati-hati sebab we never know benda macam ni boleh jadi kat kita.
The alasan yang officer tu bagi after I cakap yg I very sure my mother updated
the nomination is “sepatutnya kena check selalu, kalau tak puas hati nak check jugak,
boleh pergi kat HQ, check BORANG HARD COPY ”.

Masa tu I ingat 2 perkara:

1) Allah Maha adil
2) Allah makmulkan doa orang yg ditindas

Dear Ladies
I went to EPF on 17/3/09 to check on my nomination which I last done in year 2000.
EPF acknowledge of my nomination as they did chop & sign which I am still keeping
the document till today. On 17 th March 2009, upon checking, I was told that I did not
nominate anyone for my EPF!!!

This morning, I went to the EPF office with "Borang KWSP 4 Borang Penamaan”
together with a copy of my photostat I.C. for resubmission.
This time I brought along the old copy of my submission way back in 20 Jan 2000
as proof to them.
This is what their staff said to me - Itu sudah lama punya, kami sudah tukar system baru.
Bila masa kami tukar system baru, kalau system dapat penamaan, makna adalah, kalau tak ada
makna tak ada lah.

Thererefore, do take some time off from office to check on your EPF.
You never know.

This is a scheme to cheat our hard earned EPF money.

When EPF migrated to the computerised system,
they simply THROW AWAY ALL OUR NOMINATION CARDS.

They are TOO LAZY TO MANUALLY ENTER OUR DETAILS into the computerized system.

They claimed that the data is lost due to new computer migration
from one system to another.

EPF must have asked a monkey to do the job, that's why
the data is lost.

But interestingly, only nomination data is lost.

Where there is no nomination record and when a contributor dies
and no one come forward to make a claim; after some years,
someone will divert the money to another account and eventually
sapu the money into their own pockets.

This is true... Pls have it check out!
I went to KWSP and found out my benefiaries gone too!
So I have to provide a NEW nomination.

Some even have all their data missing!
Better check it out before it is too late.

For easier process, pls bring along original and a photocopy of IC...
this could be done immediately with a confirmation copy for ref.

No wonder there are a lot of ' Unclaimed ' over past 10 years!
Suggest we better random check every year.
Please check your EPF norminations!
EPF changed to new system on 31/12/2006,
guess the conversion missed out the beneficiary file.

I went yesterday with my wife and shock to find out that both
our a/cs do not have any beneficiary.
We are very sure that we had personally gone to EPF office
together and updated our record and now all the records are gone.

Reason given by the officer was ' Saya pun tidak dapat jawab lah,
munkin sudah sampai masa kamu check sendiri'.

Two of my friends went to check after receiving my email
also found the same answer - No record.

Please inform your friends & colleagues -
strongly advise to check your EPF records ASAP!

[WTA] mobo chip burnt

all of a sudden my friend mobo chip burnt...

first pc cannot start then check ram psu etc.. when starting up next time i smell something burning...

checked psu again snif snif nothing there.. then try on again, all of a sudden the mobo chip come out smoke!

go back to shop for warranty, technician there says will 'TRY WARRANTY' because they don't cover for chip burn / hardware damage..

WTF?! The entire PC we bought wit them no OC or whatever then got problem say TRY WARRANTY?!

Can ar like this? I feel like conned already.. the chip burnt i read somewhere @ lowyat they say got this batches of chip that are not good - maybe the mobo have one of this bad chip who knows.. and it isn't our fault if it's the chip that burn or the entire mobo goes into flames!

How bro's, help me out... i very upset!

yesterday i switched my air con.. all of a sudden i hear this 'THUD' sound and then no air come out from air con (but hear fan still blows)

I switched the panel to let air come out from leg, from vent.. all didn't come out like stuck onli.. got la a bit.. leg one got more air blow, but leg onli wat to do

Then I switched panel to let outside air come in, then onli can feel aircon (but + outside air lorrr..).

Why like this? Filter kapuut~ already meh? just want to make sure before i go to workshop scared will get con

Honda City 3G review by Neato Jr

Ok so this is it guys, I'm the first 1 and a half year old boy who's going to test drive my dad Honda City. Set in the midst of an urban area, it's a bright sunny day to roll out and see what this baby or some called 'beast' can do!

Now the driver seat are ok, not that comfty.. and daddy, your newly bought 'back-support' thing doesn't seem to help me a bit. Er.. is it ok if my legs can't touch the pedal. I mean, this car does run on automatic gear and I am able to control this 7-speed tiptronic thing which I think is more than sufficient... right?

All set.. now lets.. er, can you get the door for me daddy?

This is fantastic! I'm cruising at near 60km/h and I can't see a thing! Although I can feel that the engine is very responsive, the suspension is ment for comfort and the car can hardly shake my butt. In terms of sound proofing, I think this car need to have a thick glass to isolate sound from the back seat passengers so I can't hear what my dad is screaming when I'm driving.

Hey we survived! That wasn't so bad was it dad, apart from all your screaming and coughing from behind - the good news is that no one from the outside can hear you scream. So that's a plus for Honda City excellent sound proofing!

The verdict? This City is both a baby and a monster at the same time. A thumbs up from me!

GTA4 graphic smooth then lag (spike)

wei wat happen la.. i played this game in Vista all ok graphic smooth.

Now in XP SP3 i got higher framerate.. but then the graphic is like smooth for 10 seconds.. then lag or freeze for a second, then smooth again..

WHY WHY WHY?

I googled but can't find the answer! HELP.. i want to play GTA4

EDIT : Sorry got to emotional until forgot to post my spec.

AMD X2 5600+
2GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM
ATI Radeon 4650 512MB
Windows XP SP3 (upgrade because it wont run on SP2)

Graphic drivers are up to date - no background process running.

PERCAYAKAH anda bahawa minyak masak berasaskan minyak kelapa sawit boleh digunakan sebagai minyak pelincir untuk kenderaan anda?

Malahan sudah terdapat segelintir penduduk di Negeri Sembilan menggunakan minyak masak sebagai minyak pelincir atau minyak hitam untuk kereta mereka tanpa menghadapi sebarang masalah.

Pengurus Pemasaran Sekolah Golf Michael Ismail, Nik Safian Afzani Omar berkata, beliau telah menggunakan minyak masak yang dibeli pada harga RM2.50 sepaket untuk enjin kereta Kancilnya.

"Kancil saya menggunakan tiga liter minyak hitam. Jadi, saya tuang dua paket setengah minyak masak untuk menyamai kuantiti itu. Dahulu, kalau servis minyak hitam, saya berhabis sehingga RM130, tetapi sekarang kurang RM10," katanya.

Jika dahulu beliau menggunakan minyak hitam semi sentitik jenama Castrol, kini Nik Safian Afzani menggunakan 'minyak hitam' yang dibelinya dari sebuah pasar raya.

Menurutnya, selepas menggunakan minyak masak sebagai minyak hitam, suhu enjinnya sangat rendah dan meter suhu tidak pernah lebih dari satu takuk.

Nik Safian berkata, ketika menghantar kereta ke sebuah bengkel kenderaan untuk ditukar penapis minyak, pekerja bengkel tersebut terkejut apabila mendapati keretanya menggunakan minyak masak sebagai minyak hitam tetapi mengakui ini merupakan alternatif terbaik sebab harga minyak pelincir pada hari ini sudah naik.

Sementara itu, pencipta alat penjimat minyak kereta berasaskan gas hidrogen dan air, Hisham Abdullah, 43, turut menggunakan minyak masak sebagai minyak hitam untuk kereta Proton Iswaranya.

Beliau sudah menggunakan bahan itu setahun yang lepas dan mendapati tidak ada kesan negatif menimpa keretanya.

Bekas jurutera sebuah syarikat Jepun serta graduan dalam bidang ekonomi dan kejuruteraan dari Universiti Arkansas , Amerika Syarikat itu berkata: "Minyak kelapa sawit merupakan minyak paling sentitik, tetapi kita tidak tahu mengenainya. "

Mekanik kereta, Mohd Tajuddin Jalil pula, mula mengetahui mengenai rahsia minyak masak sebagai ganti minyak hitam kira-kira dua tahun lalu selepas bertemu dengan seorang pakar minyak dari luar negara.

Sejak itu, beliau menggunakan minyak masak berasaskan kelapa sawit sebagai minyak hitam keretanya, malahan beliau mengenali 67 pengguna kereta di Negeri Sembilan yang menggunakan minyak masak sebagai pelincir enjin kereta mereka.

"Hanya minyak masak berasaskan kelapa sawit sahaja boleh digunakan sebagai minyak hitam. Jangan pakai minyak masak berasaskan jagung, sayuran atau kacang kerana minyak ini pada suhu sejuk akan menjadi beku," katanya.

Katanya, harga minyak hitam keluaran pelbagai syarikat kini meningkat dengan sebotol empat liter minyak hitam semi sentitik kini berharga RM160 dan minyak sentitik sepenuhnya, mencecah RM200.

Bagaimanapun, beliau menasihatkan orang ramai supaya menukar gasket kereta mereka kepada jenama yang lebih baik sebelum menggunakan minyak masak sebagai pelincir enjin kereta.
