How to make the application to run 100%

Hi all,

I own a mac pro with 8 cores processor.

I have this program called Helix (its a video encoder) which will run 100% cpu full load on single core processor but with my new mac pro, it only utilize around 18% thus having an 8 cores is not giving me the extra edge (on this exercise)

so is there anyway where I can disable the 8 cores to become something like "stripping" mode in hardisk?

edit* Im running WIN XP for this application

Hope anyone can help me on this...tried googled it...no luck

Hi all,

I have 2 input AV that i need to customize the timing which i need to broadcast.

example

1 AV From DVD (we call dis A)
1 AV From DVD (we call dis B)

A input is outputting the whole day 24/7
B input is outputting ONLY at 2am-3am

does anyone know any device which can do that?

i tried google for AV switch box with timer / programmable hardware but there is no such thing. perhaps i searched it wrongly..

or if you guyz know any different idea/method, pls share.. if it works + cheap, i'll send you sum money

i tried to call ban leong technologies and explain to them that my company would like to purchase 3.5" Abigs (DVP-570HD) around 13 unit but the guy who picked up my phone call, give me dis number 0122683076
