Black Lancer GT WRD3888 STOLEN

This is the first theft of the new Lancer that I'm hearing...a BLACK Lancer GT was stolen from Palm Springs Condo at Kota Damansara last night. The car plate is WRD3888, please keep a look out for this car.

If you have been to that area, you would know that most of the people staying there park their cars outside of the condo's compound. My ex-boss 6th gen civic was stolen from that area. However it seems that the car was parked INSIDE the condo parking... so it couldn't have been towed.... not sure how they by pass the immobilizer too...

This is the first theft of the new Lancer that I'm hearing...

Trust/Greddy Company Declares Bankruptcy

Seems that aftermarket parts giant, Trust or Greddy as it is known in the US is filing for bankruptcy back in its home country, Japan.

As it seems the market for aftermarket parts from Japan has been declining for well over the last few years not only because of less demand in its home market but also growing competition from cheaper alternatives especially from China and Taiwan.

According to various reports, Trust is approximately $60 million in debt and, after reporting a serious decline in sales since February 2008 and amassing $43 million in loan payments, filed for bankruptcy in Tokyo District Court.

However since 1994, the development and distribution of Trust Company products in the US has been accomplished by GReddy Performance Products, based in Irvine, California. So it is unknown if that division will survive as a separate entity.

Does this mean the end of the popular Greddy turbo kits and Trust mufflers? Hopefully some millionair or another firm will come to the rescue of the most famous brand in aftermarket performance parts.

Using PS3 with a LCD Projector

Hi, PS3 newbie here.

Currently using my PS3 with my 22" inch widescreen Dell monitor with a HDMI to DVI cable. But I was thinking instead of getting a LCD/Plasma TV, what about getting a LCD projector instead. You can vary the size and its more portable.

Then again LCD projector's resolution are quite low... but I heard there are some with HDMI connectors as well.

Has anyone tried using a projector on a PS3?

Before you come call this no.: 03 20709670 to make sure the size you require is available and if there's someone in the office at the time you are coming to pickup.

Once you reach and got off the Pasar Seni LRT station, look for 7-eleven and Maybank. Once you find them, look for an entrance to a lift lobby between them. The building's name is Wisma Hangsam.

Enter the lobby and take the lift of to the 9th floor. Once you reach that floor turn right and go straight to the end, our office is room 905.

Seem editing for V3/V3i/V3x

You'll need 3 software to do the seem editing for the v3x. in this example i will show you how to change the sms storage to phone.

1. p2k drivers download
2. LeaderGL FlexEditor download
3. P2kCommander-V3.3.0-Beta download

after downloading them all, unzip the p2k drivers and the p2k commander to a folder and install leaderGL flexeditor. then start the p2kcommander by double clicking P2kAutostart.exe.

change ur phone's usb setting to data connection (instead of memory card), then plug in your phone via the usb mini cable. winxp should start detecting your phone and asking for some drivers for the phone.

dont let windows find the driver, select manual mode and choose the folder where you unzip the p2k drivers. This would happen for a few more times so do the same for all the new hardware found.

after all drivers have been installed, close p2kcommander if its open, and start LeaderGL FlexEditor. The status in the top right corner should be Normal.

if it is, select Struments from the menu then seem explorer. in the "Load" section, key in 0032 for the seem and 0001 for the record. then click the "from phone". this will load the seem map from the phone to the program.

after a few seconds, you can see the seem map loaded in the main section of the screen. As you can see from the seem map here, the offset to set the sms setting is 40, so look at the left side column for "4" and the top row for "0" and click on the narrowed down seem.

below there is a selected byte details where it will show u the status of bit 0 - bit 7, make sure bit 6 is UNCHECKED. after that, in the save section, click to phone which will save the new seem setting to the phone.

then click restart phone button, and the phone should restart with the new setting.

you can use the seem map here as a guide for v3 and v3i. for v3x most settings are similar so you can try it out yourself.
