Item(s): Asus EeePC 1002HA netbook.

Description: I bought this netbook because of its sleek, aluminium finish that is so much more elegant and scratch resistant compared to the plastic shells of other netbooks / laptops in the market. The aluminium finish is also fingerprint resistant. It performs decently within its specification and should be a very good carry around netbook. I used it to connect to virtually all wifi with ease. Battery life is quite good as well, averaging around 4 hours (depending on what I was doing).

Package includes: Everything that came with it when I purchased it. Which is not much actually.

1) The netbook
2) Original battery (still very good, can last 4 hous average)
3) Netbook sleeve (original, came with the netbook)
4) Charger
5) Box + Manuals
6) Original warranty card + receipt

I can also add in an LG DVD writer (external), which I purchased shortly after I got the laptop.

The laptop had been upgraded to 2GB RAM, so no need to scratch your head thinking about upgrading RAM anymore. That is the max it can go.

Price: RM1300 (nego) for laptop only. RM1400 (nego) for laptop + DVD writer.

Warranty: I purchased this on 11 July 2009, so yeah... plenty more to go.

Dealing method: Preferably COD. If buyer wants, I can send by pos, but buyer will have to bear the posting charges as well as the risk of lost. I will not be responsible if anything unforeseen happens during delivery.

Location of seller: Shah Alam. Can COD in Klang Valley also.

Reason for sale: I got a bigger laptop already, so this is just sitting in my office doing nothing. Sell it off to recover some of the money spent on the new laptop. Besides, netbook is just too small for me.

Reason for sale: No longer using it. I have a desktop in the office now, and I carry a netbook around, so this laptop is no longer used. Would like to find a good home for my previous workhorse dell. I think the vostro line of laptops are robust and reliable in general. I had not had much problem with this laptop at all.

Hoya 55mm UV Filter for RM50?

One shop here in KK is offering me a Hoya UV filter 55mm for RM50. Can buy ah? Did search in KL but was quoted RM90 for something similar (Hoya brand also). Any idea if the RM50 Hoya is the real deal or not?
