decide my holiday

right, im kinda undecided where i wanna go this winter, so just like when i can't decide whether i should keep my stubble (still keeping it) i let kopitards decide.

so i was thinknig along two lines, either norway or albania. i know it sounds pretty incongruous but what the hell. one of my housemates' albanian, and i can swing by a few other countries along the trip, but another friend mentioned the aurora, and that appeals to me too.

so basically,

norway
1. get to see the aurora
2. get to brag about being in the arctic circle during winter (won't be seeing any sun while im there lol)
3. reindeer sledding.
4. going by way of stansted to oslo (ryanair 1 pound a trip) then 1,600 kms north to tromso. that's one day on the freaking road. or crazy-ass plane there.
5. expensive as f***. more so than in britain.
6. but hot scandinavian girls.
7. a friend there, but not sure where she lives.

albania
1. a few years ago there was a civil war there lol, so will be fun dodging mines and ethnic strife.
2. cheap as f***. must check how much vodka i can bring back.
3. will go by way of bari, italy by ferry to durres and then head on to tirana.
4. so i'll be seeing a bit of italy, then maybe i can hop around to bosnia, kosovo and serbia, which are albania's neighbours.
5. hot mediterranean-east europe girls. but they're crazy, in my experience, lol.
6. another friend there, but not sure where she lives either.

can't speak a word of any language ( i know a smattering of norsk, but meh)

do girls fancy guys with stubble or without?

partially because im too lazyass to shave everyday, ive gotten to growing a beard, but i've always let it stubble out and not become a full fledged beard. ive asked the girls around and its a 50-50 chance they say keep it or shave it. so im letting you guys decide whether i should shave it or let it be.

was actually going for the beard and sideburn joining thing to make it look like a strap sort of beard if you know what i mean. i always shave my moustache off because i look horrid with them.

so what shall it be?

Job Prospects for PPE grad

Does anyone know what jobs can a scholar holding a Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree get? truth be told, i'd spend a few years with Bank Negara courtesy of them kicking my tuition fees here in Essex, but i'd just like to know what type of jobs i can prep myself up for once my retention period's up. worse comes to worst, i'd just stay in and climb up the ladder at the bank.

so, anyone?

Ways to Loosen Back Muscles

need ways to allow back, shoulders, and lower back to relax and soften up.
kinda need a more flexible back for aikido. back stiff as a horny corpse. the stiff back is kinda of holding me back from progressing, plus falling is a bit of a b****. anon must deliver.

i was going through some of the old threads and there was this one with the starter daring girls to take up the challenge of going out with the chap. i think it fizzled out, but a thought occurred to me: since im not doing anything right now (summer holidays) and i've never been on a date arranged online, i thought i might just give it a try. might even be fun.

so basically, date with a girl (a female, obviously, not a 13-year old kid [or a 30 year old granny for that matter]). my lack of transport might be a handicap, but i don't figure she'll be driving me around anyway. place, date, time of her choice (i'm majorly slacking, lol) but if she keeps in mind that i'm not posh that'll be awesome. only requirement is is that she doesn't make fun of my accent. gets a bit touchy on that. well, actually no but it does get tiresome.

so, any takers then?

oh yes, i'll report the thing on here, for the lulz.

R.AGE Trailblazer is a competition for tertiary students that will take teams to the home of delicious chicken rice, white coffee, and some say, pretty girls – Ipoh. Get ready for some action in the Preliminary Round that will kick off at 7am at Taman DR (Seenivasagam) on July 19.

R.AGE Trailblazer will take participants to Ipoh, the home of delicious chicken rice and white coffee.

Successful teams will move on to the Finals at the quaint and historical Papan later that day. The small town is the place where local war heroine Sybil Kathigasu and her husband Dr A.C. Kathigasu treated wounded soldiers during the Japanese Occupation.

Come and discover history and things you never knew about our country.

Participants of R.AGE Trailblazer will need a good deal of stamina, teamwork, creativity and decision making skills to reach to the top. Of course, knowledge on Ipoh and Papan will come in handy.

The champion teams will receive RM2,000 per team. First runner-ups will walk away with RM1,000 per team while the second runner-ups will win RM500 per team.

On top of that, there is a host of other prizes up for grabs: Acer computers, LG handphones, GSC passes, Resorts World holiday cards, Popular Bookstore book vouchers, and supplements and bags from Blackmores.

Each participant will also receive a goodie bag with exclusive R.AGE merchandise and a Maybank notebook.

All you need to do is form a team of two and sign up now by downloading the form on the R.AGE Trailblazer website (www.rage.com.my/trailblazer). Registration fee is RM25 per team or RM20 per team for Maybank account holders and R.AGE subscribers.

right folks. i'm gonna do a bbq, and as my last bbq went balls up, i'm now going to gather some consensus on what makes a bbq kick-ass. so, peeps, tell me what makes a good bbq. deliver.

1. booze.
2. the pit.
3. not holding it in the winter.
4. water / extinguisher (i've set myself on fire cooking before, so...)
5. lotsa meat. (and tissues in case dgrebel comes) includes chikins. no watermelons.
6. chicks (no prob)
7. a lake
8. skinny-dipping (probably not. lake infested with ducks, geese and swans. plus its a uni. i don't want to get bum-secksed.)#
