Cannibals captured three men who were lost in the forest. The cannibal king told the prisoners that they could live if they pass a trial. The first step of the trial was to go to the forest and get ten pieces of the same kind of fruit. So all three men went separate ways to gather fruits.

The first one came back and said to the king, "I brought ten apples."

The king then explained the trial to him. "You have to shove the fruits up your butt without any expression on your face or you'll be eaten."

The first apple went in... but on the second one he winced out in pain, so he was killed.

The second one arrived and showed the king ten berries. When the king explained the trial to him he thought to himself that this should be easy.

1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8... and on the ninth berry he burst out in laughter and was killed.

The first guy and the second guy met in heaven. The first one asked, "Why did you laugh, you almost got away with it?"

The second one replied, "I couldn't help it, I saw the third guy coming with durians."

Software Updates

Last year, my friend upgraded his GirlFriend3.1 to GirlFriendPlus1.0 (marketing name: Fiancee1.0). Recently he upgraded Fiancee1.0 to Wife1.0 and it's a memory hugger, it has taken all his space; and Wife1.0 must be running before he can do anything. Although he did not ask for it, Wife1.0 came with Plug-Ins such as MotherInLaw and BrotherInLaw.

Some features I'd like to see in the Upcoming GirlFriend4.0...

- A "Don't remind me again" button

- Minimize button

- Shutdown feature

- An install shield feature so that Girlfriend4.0 can be completely uninstalled if so desired (so you don't lose cache and other objects)

I tried running girlfriend 2.0 with girlfriend 1.0 still installed, they tried using the same i/o port and conflicted. Then I tried to uninstall girlfriend 1.0 but it didn't have an uninstall program. I tried to uninstall it by hand, but it put files in my system directory.

Another thing that sucks in all versions of girlfriend that I've used is that it is totally "object orientated" and only supported hardware with gold plated contacts.

***** BUG WARNING ********

Wife 1.0 has an undocumented bug. If you try to install Mistress 1.1 before uninstalling Wife 1.0, Wife 1.0 will delete MSMoney files before doing the uninstall itself. Then Mistress 1.1 will refuse to install, claiming insufficient resources.

Reason for sale: In May 2009, my laptop's HDD died. And so I thought I could use a new HDD, bought one..while at the same time I thought maybe I should call HP service center to specify my problem, and I was shocked I still have warranty for it (my dad extended the warranty without me knowing it damn) so I sent to SC and they replaced a new HDD unit for me, and for some reasons since I already bought it, might as well buy a HDD enclosure and use it as an external HDD, but heck...I'm not in need of such a huge external HDD..so decided to sell it off for money

for tl;dr people :-

1) Bought this HDD before knowing my laptop still have warranty.
2) Thought might want to use it as an external HDD, but it's not necessary for my needs.
3) The money I got from selling it, might as well get a new pair of shoes

Problem with Vista Premium

Hi experts,

My problem could be a nutty easy to fix, but too bad I'm no computer geek...

I have a HP Pavillion dv3000 , 2.00 C2D T5750(sob) , 3GB RAM, 8400GS, running on Vista Premium (Original)

- Since 2 days ago, I encountered [generic host process] problem, I usually downloaded the hotfix for XP(before), n i tried doing the same, but failed.. <How do I fix this 1?googled around and couldn't find the exact solution>

- And so, my HDD behaves strangely..instead of blinking LED once in a while, now become crazy stagnant flash of HDD light, signalling its been really really busy! n my comp is very very slow <A screen freeze for more than 20 secs every 1 min in average>

- I had Norton Antivirus Internet Security 2009 (legit) , detected a threat from macromedia flash? iwas like...for real? couldnt disinfect, so quarantined it...other than that my lappy is clean, or Norton couldn't detect?
- I reformat to factory setting with just a click(thanks to HP care) n now my comp is fresh with 60days NAVIS 2009 again...but my windows
response very slow, still screen freeze..HDD become crazily busy... totally different from how it's used to be (not to mention the almost 5-8mins boot time)

- Is it HDD failure? if so, I'm willing to get a new HDD if it solves..

On the side note, I have been using :-

1) Tune-up utilities 2009 , very handy. <but never really fix my super-forever boot startup time>
2) NAV Internet Security 2009
3) CCleaner (latest)
4) I've disabled most of unnecessary HP pre-installed softwares inside to reduce memory usage in the background.
5) Games I play on , Warhammer DOW2, World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3 , NFS undercover, Assassin's creed, Red Alert 3, Devil May Cry 4.

I do scheduled virus scan and defrag, registry cleanup, disk clean up..all scheduled...jz to note if you might be asking if I cleanup my OS regularly...

Problem setting up Wireless Connection :(

Hi guys...

Here's the scenario. I have been using D-Link ADSL/Router DSL-500T (for a long time)

Today, I bought Aztech Wireless 802.11b/g Wireless Broadband Router.

Can these 2 routers sync each other?

I tried setting it up just like what the Manual asked, the 1st try, my laptop can detect the wireless signal, then i go 192.168.1.1 n go to Quick Setup wizard, everything was fine..n after setup the WEP thingy, the router reboot, but when I tried connecting, my Vista said unsuccessful

I tried all method keep say failed, n so I went back to web manager(192.168.1.1) , resulted cant connect to the LAN router already =\ ...then I checked my connectivity wireless, refreshed so many times, no luck...

now im stucked, I really had no idea how to troubleshoot, or is it not compatible these 2 router/wireless?

Please help me, I need to get the wireless connection up, really urgent....

[WTA] Mobo + GPU compatibility

Hi fellas,

I am about to get a pc from a friend at a cheap price...it's outdated, but still able to play some games that I'm interested with.. but still, I gotta upgrade my RAM and my GPU...

As of now, I need some helps of what GPU can my mobo support up to?

And, as what my friend told me, it is powered by ATI 9550 extreme(or something like that) , I need to upgrade the GPU to a better one, hoping to know what is the highest I can go (It's a P4 based CPU)

1 more, now the PSU is 350w, will upgrading the GPU means it is necessary/compulsary to upgrade to a better PSU as well?

IP Sudden changes (permanently!)

Guys, for the 1st time im having ...

Your external IP address is 118.100.80.21.

May i know how the hell is this happened?? i never got any IPs except for 219 and 218...suddenly its permanently liek this, no matter how many times i have reset my modem, restart modem restart pc....omg no wonder i keep getting disconnected all time...

may i know how do i get this IP out of a sudden???

Upgrading

Hi... can any1 help me regarding this upgrading matter? It's for my friend...

He had revived his 1year++ old Classic WOW account.. and now on trial 10-days... so before its expired, he wanted to upgrade.

Since I've already got the whole TBC pack, he already got TBC installed into his HDD, that means ..he doesnt have to buy the same pack again jz for the CD-KEY for account upgrade.

So is there any places/site who sells only CD-KEY for TBC...and the PRICE too..? please enlighten me with the places/interweb...thanks!

YM/MSN on YDL @ PS3

I am on Yellow Dog Linux(YDL) on PS3 and everything is fine ( talkin' abt networking)

I can surf and download very smoothly on the PS3 Linux...but I cant get to connect to YM/MSN ... it doesnt connect at all...the loading bar hasnt moved after awhile.

I dont understand why it happened ..was it the login setup?

Here's an example , tell me what went wrong :-

I know this topic belongs to technical support, but mainly its for WoW, so i'd rather post here....

- I'm using an ADSL Router now, jz changed, n i played WoW back again(yesterday)...now i hav no idea how to cutomize my ip(used to use the connect. file that lets u auto-reconnect till u get 218.xxx ip)

now that my pc has auto-connect feature,means no dialers so the file cant be used anymore...

Some ppl say u can still reset ur modem in a simple way...

can anybody tell me how? very appreciate ur help coz im in the deepest hell of 219.xxx
