Hey people,

I plan to stock on my strings for my electrics and acoustics so may I ask where is a good place to buy them? I plan to buy in bulk, altogether like in about 20 sets of various brands and gauges because I'm still in the midst of experimenting what's best for my ears.

yeah, I'm also price concious so which shop gives the best rate? Last time, I got raped by Mahogany for buying some Dean Markley acoustic strings, spent more double of MSRP after checking online ... Bloody rip-off***

and what you think about buying strings from musician's friend or guitarcenter online? Any cheaper? Reliable?

Need help with neck posture

Recently, I noticed my neck is like (pic A)

Is Pic A normal or I should be like pic B

I do squats and calf raises with the smith machine, letting the bar rest behind my back so I'm afraid this might be the cause of Pic A

When I flashed my router/modem, I cannot log into MSN Messenger. When I click 'troubleshoot', key ports have error. Note that I have already disabled windows firewall but i can surf to the internet without hassle

B Major Guitar Chord

OK. Some uses all fingers to do this.

I like to use only two fingers, the first and the third to hold this chord (I partially bar the 4 fret with the third finger). I tend to bend my third finger really hard in order to let the small 'e' string be fretted at the 2nd fret, so much so that half of my third finger is almost perpendicular to the other half.

My question is, is it good for the finger? I really hope you understand the crap I'm saying here

Internet problem

Cannot enter google, yahoo, youtube, lowyat, etc.

Cannot sign into MSN Messenger. When I click 'troubleshoot' and click repair, there's a problem with DNS and Key Ports. The others are ok.

I also cannot update my antivirus. I'm using AVG 7.5 Free Edition. Anyway, with my existing update (updated 1 day ago), I scanned the whole computer and no virus is found.

The weird thing is I'm able to use bitcomet to download stuff, perfectly.

Soud card or motherboard problem

I'm am using creative sb live value. All this while, it's been doing it's function really well. Only yesterday, there was no sound! I tried switching the PCI slots but it still won't work.

Just now, I used the sound card on another computer and it worked perfectly. What's the problem?

I have observed that there aren't many bumiputeras taking STPM. WHy is that so?
IS it because they don't need pre-u studies? or All of them are taking a-level and ausmat?

Which one should I get?

Yamaha DW7
- Solid Engelmann Spruce top

Yamaha FG 730S
-Solid Sitka spruce top

Both back and sides of the two guitars are same, which is laminated rosewood. Both are also same priced (RM1390).
Anyone who owns or tried any of the two models before are welcomed to give comments.

Switching from electric to classical guitar

Hey you guys out there,

I like playing solos especially of Metalica's.

I found some people from youtube using acoustic guitars to 'goreng' their solos.

How is that possible???
I'm right now without an electric guitar. 'Armed' with only my old faithfull kapok, I wish to continue playing solos.

University first class honours

Just asking 2 simple questions,
Do you have to become a nerd in order to graduate with first class honours in university?
Please include reasons.

What other sacrifices you have to make to graduate with first class honours?

Why I'm asking this??? Because I only see nerds in my course who are top of the class. The fact is, they are real nerds who just anoys me and ... I better not talk more. Note: I'm not jealous
