be better than most cars now at approx RM60k (protons/peroduas, vios/city 07-08)?

Must be better in terms of the below items (highest priority at top, to lowest priority at bottom)

- Monthly maintenance after the refurbishment
- Reliability
- Fuel consumption
- Ride comfort OR performance

My intention for this is just, well, to find out are there old cars worth refurbishing, and obtain something as good as a new local car (or maybe even a 2nd hand old vios/city). Of course we know that insurance premium will be higher than new cars, and this cant be done via loans, so dont consider that. Just consider the type of car(chassis strength, known reliability, etc), the availability(how easy to get, price) of spare parts.

Good car for spirited driving, <RM60k

Guise, rack your brains and tell me, what car that is less than RM60k, and suitable for spirited driving, but isnt a Satria neo because one of my requirement is to have 4 doors.

I know add 10k can get Suzuki Swift, but its an auto, and i think proper spirited driving begins with a manual tranny

Help guys i have a nagging questions at the back of my head that needs you guys' input! Dont talk about the Swift Sports ok =.= its out of the price range. Besides that it uses higher ron 98 fuel means when price increase i'll be screwed!

Proton Satria Neo CPS (new) vs Suzuki Swift CKD 08 Which is the better car in the below aspects?
Price wise its about RM58k vs RM60+k

- Power
Power wise, the satria neo manual will definately trump the swift 1.5a, which i hear is quite lethergic.

- Handling
As far as i know, both cars are good in terms of handling. But which is better?

- Mod potential (particularly engine and performance)
Of course the satria neo has more modding options, but from my understanding the campro engine's potential isnt as good as the swift's engine. Problem is, there arent much choices for engine mods for the swift. Again, correct me if im wrong.

Lastly, are there manual gearboxes available to convert the swift's auto tranny to manual? 0.o

I rarely know nuts about watch, but i have a watch i need to fix. I kinda hit it hard against something, and the 10 o clock marker came out lose . Need to open it and fix it back. Is there any good and reputable shop in PJ that can do that? How much does it cost anyway? Its nothing mechanical from what i can see. Just opening it and reattaching back the number marker.

Hello people i have a question hope you all can help me here.

I have a friend that wants to enter UPM, but is unable to do so despite have good results. She is now considering to enter the uni via transfer credit process. She'll join another IPTS with similar course, complete 1 year there, before using the results to transfer to UPM.

Now i wanna ask, has anyone did this before and has experience with it? It would help her greatly if someone can share their input.

She intends to join the Language Faculty, English Degree course.
