Travelling with under age person to UK,France

Dear All,

I have a question regarding traveling to Europe with an underage person. Me and my girlfriend are planning to go to UK next October with her siblings and cousin, and we plan to go to France from UK. The problem is we're not sure what we need to do if we're traveling with an underage person (her cousin who's 11 years of age). Have any of you been in my situation before? Need some advice. My girlfriend called UK embassy and for her (cousin) to travel to UK she'll be needing a passport + birth cert (copy) + letter of consent (from her parents)...but when my gf called France embassy, they're not sure. Will the papers enough for her to travel to France?

Need some advice...my fren's company got some problem in their IT Infra..i'm not sure yet what...but somehow he requested me to help him by coming to his office to take a look at the problem. So he said his company will pay for it and will ask me for quotation...but i need some guidance on how much i should charge them and how do i do that? Do i charge them by the hour or what? anyone has experience on this? I need some general guidelines. Thanks ya

Hie guys...i'm helping my bro to set up his company's travel agency website...any ideas on the implementation? I planned to use joomla...is there any specific/useful extensions/components/templates for the purposed website? Secondly, anyone with experience to share regarding this in terms of what's needed for a travel agency website? Will it be better if i design it to be a normal website or using CMS? Thanks guys.

Glitch/noise when watching blu-ray on LCD

Hie guys...i'm hoping i'm in the right section to post..i have a bit of a problem with my blu-ray movie watching experience..I have this sort of noise/glitch/flickering/artifact, i don't know which one is the right term for it..but it happens randomly for a fraction of a second and it's affecting my viewing experience..i'm expecting bad HDMI cables..and i hope it is..because it's gonna cost me a bomb to change/repair my TV (Samsung R8 40") or my PS3..any ideas?

When it happens i tried going back to that frame but it didn't happen again..that sort of ruled out the BD problem...and i've tested on a few BD's same thing..random

Portable Sata HDD issue with Dimension 4700

Guys,

I need some help here...recently i bought a 160GB WD SATA HD with cheap Sata casing. I formatted it and work fine on my machine, but when i connected it to my other machine which is the Dell Dimension 4700..i didn't detect it..i tried plugging it at the back with both the usb connector but still failed. It still didn't detect it. I tried on other dell machines Dimension 3000 and a few other dell machines and surprisingly it detects it. I have a few other Dimesion 4700 at my office and all of them didn't detect it either..which puzzles me...i have updated the drivers/chipset but to no avail. Any ideas? Is it a Dimension 4700 issue?

Monitor went blank when running games

Hie guys...need some expert advice here...recently my graphic card 'kaput' loading bios ok but when loading windows loss signal..tried with my older card it works...so i bought a new one...since that my 'kaput' graphic card is also an old card (ATI 9600 Pro)...and i'm still on AGP 8X...so i bought a new one exactly the same (Sapphire ATI 9600 Pro DDRII 256) only that it has DDR2 memory of 256. So everything went fine until one day i decided to play my old Red Alert 2 game ( Got excited by the Red Alert 3 announcement) installation went fine...but when i want to play the game my monitor suddenly went blank as if it loses source from the gcard..i have to reboot the machine to get my windows up and running again...this also happens one day when i tried to view a friends page on friendster that have this online video...it struggles a bit when loading it then the monitor went blank...as if it doesn't last under stress...any ideas?

P:S My mobo is Abit KV8 Pro with AMD 64 3000 with 1 GB of memory

Hie Guys...does anyone know how much and where can i find the replacement keyboard for my laptop?... The problem with my laptop is...when on windows...it keeps beeping and whenever i open a text editor or run command it keeps typing "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."...even when i restart n try to re-install windows it keeps beeping as if i'm pressing a key..tell if i'm wrong but i think my keyboard screwed up...

My laptop model is Compaq Presario 2145AP...it's almost 6 years old...just thought of replacing the wearied battery and this happens...

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Yesterday Evening
Problem frequency: Until today
Problem description: Connections suddenly dead and PPP lights are not blinking, all other lights are OK..I've entered into the settings and try to connect but failed (The modem didn't even try or so i thought as everytime i click connect in the modem config it stated failed to connect!...Plz Help..Thanks
