L-bracket/ DC motor holder

hey guys...

i'm looking for a DC motor holder like in the pic below:

anyone knows any shop tat carries them, around klang valley?

i've tried looking for a substitute, the L-bracket in 2 shops already, but they dun carry them either... help? can suggest something else to me also...

Booting problem

Hi guys

One day my laptop decided to give up on me. The following appeared on the bluescreen:

c0000218 {Registry File Failure} The registry cannot load the hive (file):
\SystemRoot\System32\Config\SOFTWARE

I couldn't load even the safemode.

Upon googgling, i found out the solution is to use recovery console to restore the registry files but the problem is, i dun have recovery console installed.

Then i tried to boot an xp cd.

Going into the bios setup, i found out that the bios doesn't allow me to boot from cd-rom. It shows only:

Boot options:
notebook multibay
notebook hard drive
notebook ethernet

I think older compaq systems are unable to boot from cd-rom.

Then upon googgling again i found that another option is to boot from a floppy, which led to another problem, i dun have a laptop floppy drive.

I'm already out of ideas which is why i came here to consult you guys. What should i do now?

my system is:
2002 compaq presario 2800 1.7 GHz
256 RAM
9.7 GB harddisk
