Nvidia driver problem in Vista

The problem is, whenever i launch a 3d app (3dmark, games, etc..), the screen will flicker, the app crash, and this message pops up at the notification area; "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.". I've already tried 5 driver versions. After googling for a few days, it seems that this is a common problem and cause for 29% of Vista crashes. Rite now I'm using Windows XP for my daily usage since I'm usually gaming. Anyone have solution for this? Thanks.

Morning guys. My prob is when I'm using vista, the screen will go blank and shortly after that my pc crash. There is no prob whatsoever while using xp. I've tried:
1) Reformatting.
2) Use 4 versions of driver including whql certified driver.
3) Reinserting; CPU, RAM, GPU.
I've stress-test everthing in my pc in xp; gpu, cpu, and ram, and everythings seems stable. It seems like a hardware related but everthings fine in xp, just vista and it started to occur abt a week ago. Thanx.

Good morning! I installed KIS in my pc and ever since other pc cant connect wirelessly with my pc. I've tried searching google, but ended up in torrent sites . I'v also tried meddling with the firewall settings but still nothing. I'm using D-Link Wireless USB Adapter and the other pc is a notebook with built-in wireless LAN. Helppp!!! Thank you

After a few days, I've contacted him regarding my item, no reply but I can see that he is active everyday. I've contacted him this morning again still no answer. One this that really pi** me off is people ignoring me. I've already warn him if no action is taken, I'll create a thread here. My streamyx modem zte zxdsl 831 always failed grc.com firewall test if I set it to router mode. However I passed with flying colour if I use windows to dial streamyx. Is there any other setting that i should mess with? I'm using Norton Internet Security 2007.

The file name is actually "svichhost.exe" & "svichost.exe". Sorry for the typo
Does any1 ever encountered a virus with the name "svichhost.exe" & "svichost.exe"? I've tried scanning with norton internet security 2007, kaspersky, nod32, avast!, and avg inernet security, but non of them detect this virus!! All of them has been updated to the latest definition. As for my solution, i use tuneup utilities 2007 ProcessManager to manually terminate the process coz my task manager has been disable by the virus then proceed to delete the file in windows/system32. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In my Windows Vista RC2, when i start dialing streamyx, the progress bar will take a long time at 'Registering your computer on the network..'. But i can start using my connection at this time. Not really a problem, but it kinda annoys me. Any1 got a solution? Thank u... Btw, nice 2 meet u all.
