..and yes these threads are redundant. It would be best if /k/ would also stated the cars that they drove which lead to the choice they made with the answers above.

Problem with audio like my pc inhaled helium

Hi,

My windows XP using a Realtek AC97 Audio (if that's any help). The problem is the audio/sounds that came out from my computer was high pitched like it inhaled Helium or something. Like in the tv when the show character inhaled helium and talks, it sounded exactly like that for my PC audio. I've changed the speakers and the sounds still persisted.

Funny thing the audio was perfectly fine when I used Ubuntu a while back (stop using that OS already came back using windows ). So did any of you guys have the solution to my problem? before anything uncle Google just gave me a dumb stare when I asked him .

The reason is me and the seller already agreed on the price and payment method (bank in postage). I've told the seller after we agreed on the price that I'll send the money tomorrow. When the day has come as I about to bank in the money, I called the seller so that to confirm it's the seller's real no. When I called he/she hang up right after I enquire for the seller's name to confirm. Later I send a sms to the seller (thinking they maybe he/she in a meeting when I called). Then the sms replied was he/she cancelled our deal telling for some reason he/she couldn't suddenly sold the item (this happen right after I've called to confirm the no). So the question is:-

a) Is it wrong for the buyer to confirm the seller's hp no by calling? and

b) Is is ethical for the seller to cancelled the deal anytime he/she wishes

It's kinda piss me off coz I've given my time and money to secured the deal for the item only it to be cancelled just right after I called the seller for confirmation.

Does exposing your digital camera's sensor to frequent long exposure will spoils it? I'm just curios cause somehow my digicam had noises at lower ISOs that usually doesn't have noises.

Knees start to creak

Hi forumers,

My knees start to creak a few months ago whenever I do some squats or ascending steps. The funny part is I don't feel any pain in my knees or at any other joints what so ever. I don't do any rigorous exercises, just pump some iron once or twice a week. Am I suffering any illness albeit I don't feel any paint? The knees just creak like walking on Jack Sparrow's ship.

Team manager Peter Waite told Ananova that Kus sounded "like a newsreader". The biker's foray into the world of received pronunciation was shortlived, however. As soon as his memory returned, two days later, his command of English evaporated.

Speaking through an interpreter, Kus said: "There must be some English deep in my head...Hopefully I can pick some English up so I'll be able to speak it without someone having to hit me over the head."

With the Czech capital Prague being the UK's number one destination for stag weekends, Kus's hopes may be folorn.

Doctors put the baffling linguistic transformation down to Foreign Accent Syndrome, a rare condition where a blow to the head - or a stroke - damages the parts of the brain that control speech.

In 2004 a Bristol woman woke up speaking French and thinking she was living in Paris. She was subsequently diagnosed with Susac's syndrome. As she explained to the Daily Mail last year, "It might sound funny to others, but suddenly thinking you are French is terrifying."(R)

A real funny disease that might be useful i.e solving our Englaise problem.
