Is it very far from Sri Kembangan to Midvalley?

I'm currently living in Genting Klang, Setapak. I drive to midvalley everyday to work. My working hours are from 10pm - 7.45am so I can easily escape the jam. Just wondering if it'll still be as convenient if i move to Sri Kambangan?

I wanted to build another pc with low budget of RM1500.

Need recommendation on these:-

Mobo
Proc
HDD
RAM
Casing

I already have a PSU, monitor, keyboard and mouse

Only needed advice on the above mentioned list.

This will be a pc for lightweight gaming. Typical online gaming pc Not crysis-hardcore-type-of-pc.

T220 vs 2333SW

Hi guys, planning to get me self a LCD monitor to replace my 17" CRT monitor.

Searched and read through multiple specs and reviews about these 2 here. Couldn't make up my mind on buying which one. I've done some research on the performance of both the Monitors.

T220 - RM709 (Price grabbed from Czone price list)
=========
AD
1680X1050
2MS
20000:1
=========

AND

2333SW - RM665 (Price grabbed from Czone price list)
=========
AD
1920X1200
5MS
15000:1
=========

The noticeable differences are

1680X1050 vs 1920X1200
2MS vs 5MS
20000:1 vs 15000:1

I favor 2333SW for the resolution of 1920x1200.
I favor T220 for 2MS and 20000:1

The main question here is, is 20000:1 vs 15000:1 noticeable? And what about 2MS vs 5MS? Is this a huge difference?

What would you guys debate on the difference of both LCD monitors. Value wise and performance wise please.

I'm pretty sure that everything is fine when I run with XP. But today I formatted my pc and installed Vista Ultimate version and voila this msg shows when I'm searching for my graphic card in my device manager. Any idea what happened?

I tried removing my graphic card and my onboard GC started running. Then I disable my onboard GC but it wont show "Display devices" in the list no more.

Any idea?

So recently I got myself a 4870 which I am quite satisfied with. The thing that "I think" is preventing the GC to show its full potential is my old system itself.

I'm planning to get rid of the proc and mobo, maybe add more ram.

What I'm gonna get soon is a 22' monitor and change my OS to Vista, so I'm expecting DX10.

Now the main question is which mobo and proc should I get? I heard about i7 this and that. Worth investing ? Please kindly advise me if I should add other stuff i.e cooler or fans or heatsink....

Yes, please indicate the estimated price as well (if can) but I could check the price list myself as well.

Does this job pos requires IT knowledge? or any sufficient Diploma of any field will do?
Is this job not recommended?

Oh FYI, currently I'm working as an Incident Manager in a Global Subsea Provider company. My qualification is Dip in Multimedia Design. I love gaming a lot and would like to try some other jobs while I'm still young.

Well hey guys, it's been a while since i came back to LYN.

Just a quick question to those with experience.

If i have a couple of T-shirt designs. I wanted to print them out but the thing which we all aware of is that they do not print small amount.

So any idea how to get a shop to sell the shirts in shops in sungei wang or timesquare? Please kindly elaborate accordingly as I do not acquire any experience related to this.

Guys-Pros-Gurus!

Newbie here,

Recently bought a HD 4870, played a series of high end games. Stumbled upon one of my friend and he advises me to change my system to fully utilize the power of the graphic card. I ignored him until I played Mirror's Edge where everything is fast paced, open area and location changes very fast and area loading is not acceptable as everything is fast paced. So it's not smooth and its terrible! LAGNESS! when the police shot the glasses and it shatters! LAGNESS!!! So i alt+tab and took a look at the task manager. And I went WTF? My cpu usage is 99/98/97%. Switch off some useless aps even my Antivirus. Still the same. So my CPU couldn't take it?

I understood my friend for now. So now I need to upgrade. My current spec is :-

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
M2A-VM
DDR2 1Gb x 2 (forgot PC 667 or 800 will edit shortly)
ATI HD 4870

So guys what do you think that I need to buy to max out everything.

P.S : I tried Crysis Warhead. Put everything to Enthusiast. And the outcome was pretty smooth. Though sometime when everything is moving ( big explosions, swarm of army ETC ETC) it tends to lags abit though not as bad as mirror's edge.

WTA - DX10 vs DX9

Recently I bought a HD4870 and my os is XP so obviously I don't have Dx10. So I'm kinda wondering that I should upgrade to Vista for DX10. Guys is it worth it? And erm just incase that I wanna try out before buying the original copy of the OS, does *ehem* version provides DX10 as well? Thanks in advance guys.

Using Credit Card in LYP

Ok recently I've been thinking of buying something quite expensive from LYP and I'm wondering if I could pay using credit card instead of cash. The reason is if I spend too much 1 shot, it'll be painful for me to survive for the month. So my question here is:-

Is it advisable for me to use Credit Card to buy in LYP?
Can I pay using credit card and then clear my bill for as long as 6 months or so?(this would decrease my cost for the month)
I saw a 2.5% charge for Czone which is where i planned on buying my stuff. Is it applicable for only once? Like RM1000 +2.5% charge?or installment RM250 +2.5%x4?

Please advise me thanks
