surge protector/AVR

hi guys need help here... im looking for a surge protector which protect from lightning strike(yeah not guaranteed) but i duno what kind of brand should i get?what 's the price range?

a) saw a belkin 6 plug point surge protector cost rm165(with insurance forgot how much) while a power logic lightning prot + AVR(3plug point) is only rm80.. so from here im wondering should i get belkin which is much expensive but only protect my pc from lightning strike OR the cheaper powerlogic which has voltage stabilizer & lightning prot as well?

frens told me the cheaper ones spoils easily...

b)which is more important protect from lightning OR to stabilize the voltage?

c )im confused on which to get...any other brand for recommendation?

(basically i need at least 5 plug point for modem + pc)

what i need is everything a computer need except mouse,keyboard and speaker lol

at the moment i play lotsa online game like WoW...my price is around rm2500-3000

kindly gimme some suggestion based on my price...a little bit more is ok hehe.
but i would like a 19" LCD monitor.

can i play halo 3 based on my pricing?
