Old IDE 40GB HDD

Dear all,

I have a question here where I found a old IDE 40GB HDD recently and thus I plugged it into my current desktop system and try to use it as secondary hard drive. FYI my primary hard drive is Hitachi 320GB SATAII hard drive with two partitions on it, C: and D:. Both the partitions were formatted using NTFS. For the old IDE 40GB Samsung hard drive, it was installed Windows ME previously inside it and the files system is FAT32. My question here is is that HDD with FAT32 system files inside it can't shown its contents in OS which runned in NTFS files system??? I've been tried using disk management utilities in Windows XP (OS which currently installed in my 320GB HDD) but the utility failed to detect the old 40GB IDE HDD...

Please advice

Asus XG Station

When XG Station, the world's first external graphics for notebooks from ASUS made their first appearance over at CES back in January, it has stirred up huge interests from the media and consumers.
ASUS plans to bundle and sell the EN7900GS graphics card together with XG1 to avoid any compatibility issues.
Since XG1 is linked up to the labtop through the ExpressCard slot, therefore the graphics card slotted into the PCIe x16 slot inside the XG1 has a reduced bandwidth from full x16 (4GB/s in each direction) to just x1 (250MB/s in each direction).
Regarding the facts above, will the performance of the PCI-E graphic card reduces significantly compare to mating the mentioned PCI-E graphic card with desktop board? Also is that worth for us to consider it since it required external display panel where the LCD screen on labtop cannot be connect via this device?
[attachmentid=200441]
[attachmentid=200442]
[attachmentid=200443]

SLI Ver.2.0

I heard faintly about NVIDIA SLI 2.0 technology and it is going to launch during CeBIT in March. Little information is available at this moment but I heard that it will be able to support mixed cards. We are unclear if it is across different series or different models of the same series.. Also there are some rumors out now that GeForce 8x00 series will be able to support multi-GPUs SLI by linking up 4, 6 to 8 cards or more. This multi-GPUs SLI capability could form part of the SLI 2.0 technology we are hearing.
