i read from the newspaper that gameloft is giving free full version downloads for games for nokia user.

before i log in, i saw many types free games. but once i logged in, all the games disappeared.

anyone manage to test it?

Problem details
Problem description:
when i connect my modem straight to my pc, it can connect to the internet. this shows that my internet connection is ok.
when i connect my modem to the router, then through wired LAN connection to my pc, i can't online.
when i go to 192.168.1.1, under the Status tab page, when i click connect, it just tries to connect and finally fail. FYI, i have typed the correct user name and password, selected PPPoE in the Setup page.

why? anything that i've missed? please help.

UPDATE:
now, my pc (on windows XP) can connect to the internet through wired LAN to the router. (after playing with bridge mode for the modem)

but here's one more problem. my compaq laptop (on windows vista) has a broadcom B/G wifi. it can detect my router (tested with Mixed/B/G mode), but when i wanna connect to it, finally it says fail. sometimes say limited connectivity. in my opinion, it doesn't even manage to connect to the rouer network. wireless security is set to disabled. why? can detect but cannot connect.

FYI, the notebook can connect to the router and internet if i were to use a LAN cable.

how do i go from giant kelana jaya to wisma glomac / kelana business center / masjid kelana jaya?

i start from giant kj ...then cross the jejantas (across LDP)...walk across the park(shortcut=faster)....to the kelana business center. last time i walked to there before....but on afternoon.

i'll be walking there in morning
i wanna know if there's specific "gate entrance" through the park or not....i can't recall last time.

or there's shorter route?

i'll be going to putrajaya government office kementerian belia & sukan at precint 4 next week using public transport. i plan to take ERL from kl sentral to putrajaya station. then taxi.

are there many taxis at the station in the morning (around 8am)? how much will they charge? run on meter?

USB pin connector to USB plug

suddenly, all my pc usb ports failed (ports on mobo and through headers too). plug in any usb device and i get usb unrecognized balloon popup.
tried all methods but to no avail. i think my mobo usb controller dead already.
so, i have to buy a pci usb hub/adaptor. with it, my casing's front usb ports still useless. therefore, im looking for this device: usb header (for connecting my casing's front usb port connector) to USB plug (to be connected to the pci usb hub internal usb port).

is there such thing in malaysia market? what's the price?

ediited: i end up buying a cheapo vztec RM15 4+1 USB card using VT6212L chipset . but i still need the item shown above. without it, my casing's front usb ports are useless.

intel HD audio header to AC97 connector

my mobo, Biostar TPower45, has the intel HD audio header (for connecting to pc casing) but my casing, LianLi PC-G7, only has AC97 audio connector (block type and individual socket type). according to the biostar manual, it says AC97 connector is not compatible. how to connect?

edit: found the answer.

looks like the biostar manual should state that block type connector is not supported, but individual wire type can be used.

but in windows, there is no sound unless the jack sensing option is disabled.

recently the pc in my office has a weird problem.
the files and folders in my thumbdrive are in pairs (duplicate).

duplicate means:
QWERTY.doc and QWERTY.doc
ASDF(folder) and ASDF(folder)

i know that it seems weird. u can't have 2 files/folders with the same filename exist at the same place.

if i delete the first ASDF(folder), i get this message:

there'll be an OK button. after pressing the OK button, the ASDF(folder) disappear. then, the second ASDF(folder) cannot be opened, and vice versa. it poped up corrupted sth..same goes to the doc or xls files.

I'm using Kaspersky with the latest updates and definition. heuristic and other security options all set to the max for best protection. please help.

this is not brontok as i know the brontok symptoms:
QWERTY.doc and QWERTY.exe, or;
ASDF(folder) and ASDF.exe

there's no hidden files or whatever autorun crap. (tested on other pc too)
