the question:

my lappy power input says 18.5Vdc 3.5A(3,5A)... so will these 2 adapters somehow affect my laptop if i choose the wrong 1...?

not sure it's a tech question or not... juz wanna ask...

here's the situation:

location: Ridzuan condo Bdr. Sunway
using DS300 WiMax modem
direct connection... no routers involved...

today i called P1... asked them where to point my WiMax modem to get best connection... tat guy said nearest is the Shell station near Mentari Court...

so i tried pointing my modem there and use the clothes hangar to put my modem to higher position at the balcony...

this is wat i get from the modem config page:

CINR: 12-14dB
RSSI: -4X.XX

the above readings r supposed to be pretty good from wat i understand bout RSSI and CINR... however in real connection speed i get:

BSID: 00:00:12:A1:03:03
light on the modem: orange
average speedtest result: <0.3MB/s
average speedtest ping: 150-200ms
average torrent download: <10kb/s

previously i used this same modem in Klang opposite case...

CINR: ~10dB
RSSI: >60
speedtest result as per my siggy...
average torrent speed: ~40-60kb/s

recently my manager asked me to recommend a wireless mouse for him cuz most lowyat people try to sell him MS Arc mouse...

i suggest getting Logitech V550 to him for RM175(from myself)... he got it and seem to be very in love with it...

i juz wanna ask... wat u guys look for in wireless mouse...? for me wireless+ergonomic+price=priority 1

all else are secondary...

My outlook everytime send or receive email will sort of hang cuz trying to sync the offline address book... how to disable sync for address book...? or any other way to fix this....?

Suddenly RAM usage exceed 1GB...

I got a pc at office which suddenly the RAM usage flies up more than 1GB... tat pc juz use for outlook, office apps, and MSN... tat PC got 2GB of RAM... a Dell 530S... using Avira AntiVir... scan in safe mode all clean...

copied "explorer.exe', 'logonui.exe' and 'shell32.dll' from other PC and replace them... used antivir to scan in safe mode... checked the registry... used ccleaner... all seems to be clean...

in the task manager there's a java.exe keep on appearing and disappearing...

after my bro use it for dunno wat ytd...

everytime i try to run non microsoft programs... the DEP will close it and display a message... even my nVidia control panel also will pop up a msg box saying cannot be written... want to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack also same thing happen... so for now i turn off the DEP by editing the Boot.ini... any1 else face this prob...?

i notice software like logmein once installed non administrator user accounts in windows XP won be able to close it... so... suppose i want to do tat to winamp... how do i do it...?

*NOTE: I'm only using Winamp as an example only...

prefer not to use external software...

and if i manage to add winamp into windows services list... as in it will be listed in the services.msc... will non admin users be able to close winamp....?

user inputs 2 characters and the program should output decimal, octal and hexadecimal values of all characters...

so i already got the decimal value... how to get octal and hexadecimal value?

in case the way i ask is not clear here's the question:
