well I just bought it 2 days ago, and do the setup accordingly to the setup cd given...but when it want to test internet connection, it just take forever to connect...So I tried to unplug/attach the telephone line between my splitter and modem router and for 5% it will connect to the internet...well I think I didn't do anything wrong with the configuration, it just take forever to connect ...well my other modem could easily connect just for 3 sec, so whats wrong do u guys thing?...I hardly figured it out...please help

how to set manual connection for modem router

my modem is SMC Network router...(I can't remember the model)...it use auto connection to connect to streamyx... but how can I change it to manual dialer connection... I even checked the manual book, not even one mentioning how to do it...

well I want to know how because recently my streamyx connection got stucked..so I call customer service, and he told me to checked the error I get using manual connection...but I tell him that I don't know how to do it, so he told me to bring my modem to any computer outlet to let them do it for me...

so anybody know how to do it, I will appreciate it very much...
