I'll start with my recent facepalm moment

Was playing Resident Evil 5, in the missile factory level
I reach outside a room with a side window, with 2 door (front door, and side door)
I didn't open the front door, but went to the side window and have a peek inside, just in case there's enemies inside

true, there's 3, 4 faggots waiting behind the main door waiting to ambush me if I open the main door, and they didn't notice me at the side window

I laugh out loud, equip my hand grenade, aim at them, and threw the grenade. (Big grin on my face )

*bing* the grenade bounce off the window glass, bounce to my feet

"OH SH1T!!!" tried to run away but too late... BOOOM!!

Lastly, for those who claims they can get it cheaper elsewhere with the price of RM8XX or even RM7XX, please don't bother to post here.
Those are the Korean set, flashed with a US IOS, and it's not 100% safe to update the firmware with the risk of bricking it.
The one I'm selling here is the 100% USA set, which you'll never find any problem updating the firmwares, unless you're screwing it around with other foreign IOS.

Harper's Island is a hour-long murder mystery series created by Ari Schlossberg for CBS's 2008-2009 television season.
The series premiered on April 9, 2009 at 10:01 pm ET/PT. Harper's Island will have only one season comprising 13 episodes.
At least one character will be killed off each week.

About the Show

HARPER'S ISLAND is about a group of family and friends who travel to a secluded island off the coast of Seattle for a destination wedding. This island is famous for a streak of unsolved murders from seven years ago. Although they've come to laugh and to love, what they don't know is they've also come... to die. As the wedding festivities begin, friendships are tested and secrets exposed as a murderer claims victims, one by one, transforming the wedding week of fun and celebration into a terrifying struggle for survival.

In every episode, someone is killed and every person is a suspect, from the wedding party to the island locals. By the end of the 13 episodes, all questions will be answered, the killer will be revealed and only a few will survive.

I've just watch the 2 episodes, I'll say it's a very nice show.
Good for those who like slasher genre.

Just a few minutes into the first episode, the murderer already claim it's first victim
and another unexpected victim near the end of the show.

Second episode we see the murderer claimed three lives, seems like the body count kept piling up

btw, up till now... all 8 died in different ways

Episode 5 is out. Who will be next to die?

Playstation subforum, Xbox subforum, Nintendo subforum and the main console couch each has their own sales and trading thread, not to mention each subforum has their own playasia thread too, and a few online shops like sce and gamer's solution.

in fact, there's too many threads related to PA like coupon sharing coupon request, PA sales and etc
not too mention the same questions about PA are repeated asked by many newcomers.

Suggest to group all those console sales trading, buying advices, online sales related threads all group under a single subforum, a Console Trading subforum.

Upgrading Power Mac G5

We got a few old G5 lying around, which needs some memory upgrade in order to run panther and some newer apps smoothly.

What I got from the vendors are, that we are suppose to use the RAM tested and verified working with Mac, bcos the RAM you gotten just off the shelf from any shops will not guarantee 100% working with the Mac.

So I gotten some quotation from the vendor, and guess what?
2 gig pack (2 x 1 gig) of Kingston DDR 400 ram Kingston (KTA-G5400/2GB) will cost me RM630 each!

which the usual 2 gig DDR 400 ram I buy from any shop shouldn't cost me more than RM300!

is this a day light robbery or what?

is it a MUST that we use those so called certified RAM for Mac?

Best Season End Cliff Hanger

For me it's Battlestar Galactica's season 3's ending. Starbuck died and came back, and 5 of last remaining six Cylons are revealed.

The Lost season 3 ending doesn't gives me the WTF!! feeling like it's previous seasons.

Prison Break's ending are also getting lame...

iMac or MacPro?

I need to help my company to decide on whether to get a 2.4Ghz iMac or a Dual 2.8Ghz Quad Core Xeon MacPro
Primary application running will be only Adobe CS 3 Standard.

The price of the MacPro plus the cinema display monitor plus software and memory upgrades is already coming to RM20K, whereas iMac is around RM11K, almost half the price of MacPro.

Our Director is keen on getting the MacPro, since it's more future proof, while I think it's a bit over kill and expensive just to run CS3 on a 8 core MacPro, since they are only doing mainly photoshops and 2D graphics, no 3D are involved.

But my concern for iMac is it able to run CS3 smoothly after upgrading the memory to 4Gb? and how long it can last before it's unable to run future softwares?

We already had a few 1st Gen 2Ghz G5 from 3 years back, and now it's still going strong, and we just need to upgrade the memory for new softwares.

So any advices from Mac user out there?
