Hi, i wanna buy pc with amd processor as state above, but suddenly i wanna buy card that is better than 4870, but hope the price is lower than 4890 which is around rm700. So it would be gtx 260+ which is abit better than 4870 but around my price range. But i dunno if i combine amd with nvidia, will there be any incompatible problem? And also what is the benefit of using amd+ati setup?

Hi, I wanted to make a new rig for my fren. His budget is around 3k include everything u need to build a desktop. The specs i have in mind is

Proc: Intel e8400 e0
RAM: 2x2gb kingston value ram
Mobo: asus p5ql-pro
Gfx: galaxy 9800gtx+ 512mb ram
PSU: silverstone 500w

My question is, is asus P5QL-PRO good for daily usage? No OC everything. Just wan normal use and gaming only. He need a stable computer. And is galaxy 9800gtx+ ok? Anyone having problem with that card?

Hi, i wanted to ask whether i should go for q6600 or e8400+new mobo.. I am on gaming purpose only. If i get q6600, i dont need to upgrade my mobo, which i can save rm300 for it. If i wan to upgrade to e8400, i have to buy new mobo. But can q6600 perform as well as e8400? I wanna oc q6600 too.. but dunno my mobo can oc it well enuf or not lo.. My cooler should be enuf la i think..

I wanna get a replacement for my 965p-ds3 and my e6300. BUt i dunno which chipset is better for me. I wanna oc the e8400 to 4ghz on air. Currently my ram can push up to 400mhz with 1:2 ratio, meaning 800mhz DDR2. So which chipset is good for overclocking? Wanna try p45 but abit exp, p35 rm200-rm250 can get edi. I've heard about the galaxy g31 chipset mobo also can oc like charm. No plan for CF currently, just wanna upgrade my processor but must stay within budget...

Hi there, i wanna buy 5200 to replace my e6300 as i see it can perform much better than my e6300. But i dunno whether my mobo can support or not. I am running my e6300 at FSB 1600mhz. So would my mobo be able to support e5200? I dont want to buy and wasted my money... DOnt wan change mobo also, plan to wait for nehalem when price stable down hehe. Don need ask me to buy e8400 or watever quad core la, out of budget also lolz. HOpe some sifu can help me out...

Hi there, i wanted to asked that whether soundblaster live 5.1 will be better than my Realtek ALC883 codec onboard sound? Currently using onboard one, it was too crappy and my fren got an old soundblaster live 5.1 to give me lolz.

Square Enix Migrates to PC Development Tools—News
Square Enix has gone PC. On the first day of the show, the Japanese game publisher announced that Final Fantasy XIII is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 (in Europe and North America only) and PC. During a press conference following the Microsoft event, Final Fantasy XIII Producer Yoshinori Kitase discussed the new development strategy that Square Enix has taken with its upcoming games.

Aside from the new The Last Remnant game, which is being created for Xbox 360 and PS3 using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 externally, all new internally-developed games from Square Enix, including Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII Versus, and an untitled new massively multiplayer online game, utilize the new PC-based Crystal Tools development environment. These tools allow development teams to create cross-platform games.

"The content will be the same on all platforms," said Kitase. "However, we have yet to determine how many discs will be required for the 360 version. We'll have to consider the differences between formats. Currently the game is being built on PC, where it's actually functional. We're still focusing on making it work on PS3, so it's difficult to know how long the process of taking it to 360 will take."

Thanks to the new PC development platform, Kitase added, "Now that we're developing on a PC base, the pace is going a bit faster," Kitase said. "We haven't introduced new footage of the game, but we should be able to show something new in the near future."

Square Enix showed the beautiful pre-rendered trailer for Final Fantasy XIII at the end of the Microsoft press conference. The publisher has a big event scheduled for Tokyo next month where the first new information will be revealed on all Final Fantasy titles. Previously, the publisher released its online game, Final Fantasy XII, on Xbox 360 and PC.

NIce to all pc gamer who are waiting for the game since FF8, but too bad i got my 360 and i only will play it on that platform, console game is still a console game, play on console more feel i think. Like Mass effect, i finished the 360 one then i tried pc version. I didnt like the key mapped on keyboard.

Seem like alot of ppl is having HD4850, i just make a thread to see how we OC the card. For me, i oc'ed the card to 690/1050 rock stable. Later we can see any sifu out there can teach how to Vmod or do better overclocking
