Vista Ultimate networking problem

My problem goes like this. I have one pc runs on winxp while the other is vista ultimate. Both are networked on the same workgroup. Both pc have their all hard drive folder share on the same network.

Here is the problem, my winxp couldn't access my vista pc shared folder with message stating "access denied" verify vista pc admin for permission. But the funny thing is my vista pc can have full access to my winxp shared folder.

I have all the firewall shut off from my vista.

What's the difference between Intel G31 and P31 chipset?

Is G31 a good chipset motherboard to run a mid pc gaming system.

Plant to run Intel E7400 + 4GB DDR2 800 + Geforce 9600GT or HD4830 + 22" Wide + 640GB WD SATAII

I saw Gigabyte G31 M-ATX mobo just RM 183 while Gigabyte P31 ATX just RM 279.
