juz wanna share with u guys some idea when ur car is having a problem..hopefully this will give u some help/tips..tq..

1. Engine will not crank(cannot start)
possible cause/problem:
a. Run-down battery
b. Starting-circuit open
c. Starting-motor jammed
d. engine jammed
e. Transmission not in neutral or park
solution:
a. Recharge or replace battery:start engine with jumper battery and cables
b. Eliminate open; check for dirty or loose connection
c. Remove starting motor n repair
d. check and repair engine
e. move shift lever

2. Engine cranks slowly but will not start
possible cause/problem:
a. Run-down battery
b. Defective starting motor
c. bad connection in starting circuit
solution:
a. Recharge or replace battery:start engine with jumper battery and cables
b.repair or clean
c. repair, or clean n tighten

3. Engine cranks at normal speed but will not start
possible cause/problem:
a. defective ignition system
b. defective fuel system
c. Air leak into intake manifold
d. Defect in engine
e. Plugged fuel filter
f. Restricted exhaust system
solution:
a. try spark test,triggering test,check timing,ignition system
b. Repair or replace
c. tighten d connection,replace gasket
d. Check compression,leakage
e. replace
f. clear system,replace restricted parts

4. engine runs but misses one cylinder
possible cause/problem:
a. defective spark plug
b. defective distributor cap,rotor or cable
c. valve stuck open
d. broken valve spring
e. burned valve
f. bent pushrod
g. flat cam lobe
h. defective piston or rings
i. intake-manifold leaks
solution:
a. replace
b. replace
c. free valve, service engine
d. replace
e. replace, service engine
f. replace
g. replace camshaft
h. replace, service cylinder wall
i. replace gasket, tighten manifold bolts

5. Engine Sluggish,stumbles,lacks power,acceleration,or high speed performance
possible cause/problem:
a. Defective ignition

e. carbon build up in engine
f. defective valve action
g. excessive rolling resistance
h. thick oil
i. wrong or bad fuel
j. transmission not downshifting, defective torque converter
solution:
a. check ignition

c. check catalytic converter, muffler, tailpipe; replace restricted parts
d. check compression, leakage
e. service engine
f. check compression, leakage
g. check for low tires, brakes dragging wheel misalignment
h. use specified oil
i. use correct fuel
j. check transmission

6. Engine lacks power, acceleration,or high speed performance(hot)
possible cause/problem:
a. engine overheats
b. choke stuck
c. manifold heat control valve stuck
d vapor lock
solution:
a. check cooling system
b. free, repair or replace
c. free valve
d. use different fuel, shield fuel line

7. engine overheats
possible cause/problem:
a. lack of coolant
b. late ignition timing
c. loose or broken fan belt
d. thermostat stuck closed
e. clogged water jackets or radiator core
f. defective radiator hose
g. defective waterpump
h. valve timing late; timing chain has jumped a tooth
solution:
a. add coolant; chechk for leaks
b. adjust timing
c. replace; adjust tension
d. replace
e. flush n clean
f. replace

my lappy suddenly couldnt load the windows..it happened once before n i reformat n it was working fine for two weeks.. now, the problem comes again..while loading the windows,an error occured n stated dat my system is corrupted..then i tried to format it.. but , it unable to access my hdd..i tried for so many times..and when it can access the hdd,another error occured..BSOD and stated dat it couldnt read memory(73xx6e38 bla2)..anybody know wut actually the problem is..

im having problem with my pc..
while playing games(e.g dota) its cursor cannot be controlled..
and graphic response time becoming very low..

my specs are as signature..
i donno whats wrong with it..my voltage reading for 12V is 12.31V..
is it too high?
bcos my fren pc is just about 12.05V only..
