i have this comp, after playing game for awhile, the usage goes up to 50% and stays there. it wont go down no matter what

i have this problem after repairing my old ibm x31...i lost the cd, dont know the exact model and more...

last time i used this program by ibm where it detects the hardware itself and automatically download the appropriate driver to be installed...

but now i cant find the software anymore..

so my question goes here...

is there anyone who know the name of the ibm software that detects the hardware and download the drivers for me?
how can i know the exact model of my laptop?

i bought a set of crucial ballistix tracer rams (2 x 1gb) form a forumer. Paid him and he posted the rams to me..everything went well until when i receive the parcel...

i checked through the rams, and found out the heat spreader was not properly attached to all the ram chips...

in the afternoon, i text-ed him for an explanation...he didnt reply my sms but he did pm me to explain and send me a link.

his explanation in the pm: Old batch are mostly like that, the head spread is not firmly attach to the ram chip. There are few complaints about it in the net, but it wont be a problem if you have an outer cooling for the ram itself like what I did. But running it at stock speed even without a cooler is not a problem just stick below 2.2v.
