I've been out of the loop for sometime anyone can intro me a good graphics card?

I bought my system earlier this year with a Nvidia 9500gt.
Felt it was kinda not up to par few weeks back and decided to sell it.
Not sure what tot buy now.

Some friends suggesting me to get the (now cheaper in 2nd hand form) legendary Nvidia 8800's and do SLI. Or even two 9800 cards. I'm guessing this will cost me around 400-500 bucks.

Then I was looking at GTX260 new around 500-600 bucks new, don't need to do SLI and save on energy consumption and casing space.

Then I also saw some GTX270 and GTX280's in the garage sales for around that price.

Any suggestions or info?

I’ve only begun to scratch the surface of the vast, confusing world of tokusatsu very recently, but if this new extended trailer for Koichi Sakamoto‘s Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends - The Movie is any indication of where the genre is going, I guess I picked a good time. Incredible!

Plot: The evil Ultraman Belial was imprisoned by the Ultraman King tens of thousands of years ago. When he finally escapes, he attempts to use the Giga-Battlenizer to control 100 giant monsters and conquer the galaxy. On the Ultraman homeworld, where there is no 3-minute time restriction, a team of 50 Ultramen including Ultraman, Ultra Seven, and Ultraman Mebius among many others mobilize to put a stop to Ultraman Belial’s plans and face off against his monsters.

Warner Bros. will be releasing the film in Japan on December 12, 2009. Advance tickets are now on sale.

i thought that my solution for my ever increasing recovery/reinstall woes due to viruses and such would be to either move to linux/mac.
linux is free and fine. have been using it for sometime though bump into driver support problems when buying accessories like printers, scanners, photo printers, etc.
so ended up with macs.

so now my working computer is a mac i bring to work which also acts as my virus filter.
a firewall for my weak windows gaming desktop at home.

just need advise on what antivirus programs is best for macs?
i just need it to scan for viruses on thumbdrives i plug into computers at work and such.
i don't need it to eat up my mac resources by loading during startup and slowing down everything.

I'm wondering if we have any parts bin projects in KL/SEL area.

If you're not sure about what I am talking about let me explain the mechanics.

I'm one of those people got heart no energy do to charity.

But do not really trust alot of charity work being done because there is no transparency.
We make donations and the money just disappear.

Anyone knows of a better solution for people like myself?
