I have a really weird internet connection ,

i have a modem with 3 cables connected to it , two of them connecting to computers (one of which is about 5m long and the other is less than 1m) and the other one cable is connected to a wireless modem .
everytime i use the computer with the 5m cable attached , i have to plug out the cable connecting to the wireless modem because my internet connection at that computer(with 5m cable attached) fails everytime when it wants to , its rarely ever normal . when the cable isnt attached , the internet runs fine and has no disconnections.
i thought this was because theres somethign wrong with my computer , which was a windows vista x86 , i reformatted it and now im using windows 7 x86 but it still has this same problem.

can anyone help me here?

this shows even after i uninstalled windows live messenger ..and even the files

this occured after i reformatted the computer , the windows live messenger comes with it..i have 2 computers that have been reformatted and both have the same problem?

I have a few questions in my chemistry book that I do not understand enough to move on to the next section . Can someone help me?

Reactions rates are affected by concentration ,collision geometry , and the presence of a catalyst . Which of the following statement is false concerning these factors.

a Increasing the concentration of reacting particles increases the chance for collision
b Optimum collision geometry lowers the activation energy barrier
c A reaction occurs each time particles of the reactants collide.
d The slowest reaction incolved in a reaction mechanism determines the rate of overall reaction

the correct answer is c ,but why? I did alittle research online and found this statement "A chemical reaction occurs when substances (the reactants) collide with enough energy to rearrange to form different compounds (the products)."
isnt d correct" why then is c false?

I needed to do this calculation :
I needed to balance the equation first (which i did already) and calculate ΔH
2(C2H6) + 7(O2) ---> 4(CO2) + 6(H2O) <<already balanced

C-H = 99kcal
O-O = 119kcal
C-C = 83.1kcal
C=O = 192kcal
O-H = 111kcal

ΔH = ??

I did the calculation this way
Products = C-H 2( 99*6) + C-C 2(83.1) + O-O 7(119) = 2187.2 kcal
Reactants = O=C 4(192*2) + H-O 6(111*2) = -2868

2187.2 + (-2868) = -680.8 kcal

The correct answer was -340.4 kcal
Why do i have to divide by 2?

Headphone problem

I just bought my headphone yesterday , when i was using it just now listening to some music , suddenly the sound only came out from one part of the headphone , the right part , a few minutes later , the music is only playing on the left part , its still playing on the right part but i can hardly hear it.. how do i fix this?

Petition to the BWF [U]

To: Whom it may concern (from the Badminton World Federation (BWF))

We, the undersigned, representing the international badminton community wish to register our concern with the state of proceedings in international badminton tournaments, particularly that of the highest level, which include Super Series, Grand Prix Gold, and Grand Prix tournaments. Our concerns mainly stem from the conduct of several countries that we believe are not only a grave threat to the integrity of the sport of badminton, but a blatant disrespect to other players and badminton fans worldwide.

Our concerns include:

a) MATCH FIXING - The numerous walkovers given by players when facing players from the same country, most predominantly players from The People's Republic of China. This is not only unfair to the badminton fans around the world, but also those who bought (often costly) tickets to those matches. In a time where the status of badminton is being threatened worldwide, both from an Olympic and a popularity aspect, such act(s) can only serve to further plunge the status of the sport. In addition to this, such walkover(s) are blatantly unfair to players that the aforementioned players who received the walkover(s) will play in the next round. As the worldwide badminton community, it is our strongest believe that badminton should be played in a neutral platform, and not through disgraceful technicalities such as these. Furthermore, we strongly believe that this is not in the spirit of the game. Such examples include, but are not confined to:

i) China Open 2007 (23rd November 2007) - Chen Xu/Zhao Tingting gave a walkover to Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen. Both players were reportedly healthy and uninjured.
ii) China Open 2007 (23rd November 2007) Chen Hong gave a walkover to Bao Chunlai. Chen Hong was seen to be fully fit and able to play badminton.
iii) Macau Open 2007 (5th October 2007) - Chen Hong gave a walkover to Chen Jin. Chen Hong was, again seen to be fully fit.
iv) China Masters 2007 (13th July 2007) - Xie Zhongbo and Guo Zhengdong gave a walkover to Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng. It was witnessed that Xie Zhongbo was fully fit when playing Mixed Doubles earlier
v) German Open 2007 (4th March 2007) - Chen Yu gave a walkover to Lin Dan, citing injury. He even put on a show by demonstrating his difficulty while walking down a staircase. 2 days later, he appears fully fit, reaching the finals of the All England.
NB: Note that this list is not exhaustive, not even listing every suspicious walkovers that occurred this year in major tournaments.

b) OFFICIALS FROM SIMMILAR COUNTRIES AS PLAYERS - Linesmen and/or umpires that adjudicate in matches involving players from same countries. We believe that this will encourage bias and unequal adjudication(s) for the players. Although quite common worldwide, we find an unusually large amount of Chinese linesmen and umpires in matches involving Chinese. We wish to draw special attention to an incident that occurred on the 23rd of November, 2007 in which South Korean players Jung Jae Sung and Lee Yong Dae walked out in protest in their match against Chinese Men's Doubles players Guo Zhengdong and Xie Zhongbo. The South Korean players complained of biased linejudging, and this would not have happened if linesmen were from a country other than China.

We request that the following actions be taken:

a) An investigation into the alleged match fixing in badminton to determine the cause and to find solutions to this problem. This is not unprecedented in other sports, and to popularize the sport, we believe that such action should be taken. What would a person think of badminton if scars of walkovers stain the integrity of the sport?

b) Enact certain rules to preserve the integrity of the sport. Such rules can be, but are not restricted to:

i) Having a 'injury time' if a player gives a walkover in which the player cannot participate in tournaments. - We realize that this rule might be hard to maintain and uphold.
ii) Officials from countries that are similar to players participating cannot officiate.
iii) Have BWF volunteers/officials from the panel mentioned in part © below to determine the nature of the walkover.

c) Setting up a panel to examine each individual walkover. This panel can adjudicate other matters, which can include actions breaching the rules or action(s) that are deemed unfair.

d) Investing of the Hawk-Eye or similar technology, not unlike that of tennis. We believe that this can effectively ensure fairness to all players. This has been a great hit for tennis, effectively improving the popularity of the sport. This is certainly the correct way for badminton to go.

We do not aim to punish or discredit countries mentioned in this petition, particularly the People's Republic of China. We, as badminton fans worldwide just want the integrity and respect for the sport to increase and be maintained. Hence, we, the undersigned, representing the badminton community worldwide, urge the Badminton World Federation to take such appropriate actions.

My internet problem

ok my problem is like this..everytime i turn on the pc,the internet is not connected.I have to somehow "force" it to connect by refreshing pages..im not sure if im even forcing it.Neways..i have to wait infront of the pc for like 20 minutes to even an hour for the internet to connect by itself.I just could'nt figure out the problem.I have 3 pcs in my room using the same modem router thing.It has four slots,two taken by two of the pcs and one is used to connect to the wireless modem router,which is where my pc's cable is connected.(the wireless modem router has 4 slots also.)
my two other pcs don't have this problem..only mine.I tried connecting my cable to the other modem but it still wont work.

Neways..heres my pc specs..if it even matters..

Im using Gigabyte 965p ds3 v3.3.. the network adapter is
Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabyte Ethernet Controller..i've updated the driver to 9.14.4.3..

I'm also using windows vista ultimate and using the beta service pack 1

I never had this problem when i first started using my pc..for about a month.then one day my cousin brought his laptop to my house and he used the internet to download torrents using bitcomet.while he is downloading,my internet suddenly disconnected and thats how this problem first started.If i turn on bitcomet or even flashget,this is the only pc that will get disconnected.It's just so freakin strange.I'm having the same problem for about 4 months already btw..now i just cant take it anymore and i really need u guys to help me with this..its getting worst..now it just disconnects even when im not downloading anything..

P.S. : Oh my internet just got disconnected again..how sweet

TV surround sound speaker audio problem

hey guys.this happened a few days ago..im using gigabyte 965p ds3 v3.3 and some tv surround sound speaker..5.1..and im using realtek high definition audio drivers..the problem is..when i use that gigabyte software to test my speaekrs,the sound comes out..but when i watch video/listen to music / play games,the sound wont come it..its so weird..it only happened a few days ago and before that it was all fine..i didnt do anything to the computer..pls help?

where to get this fan?

2 game errors...

Sorry if im posting in the wrong forum..
but im having problems with battlefield 2 and supreme commander..both about crashing back to desktop..

for supreme commander..whenever i play on any maps with any AIs..half way through the game it just crashes..there was once when theres an error message "in" the game..its like "hidden in the game"..just now i played on another map with 3 AIs..when i try to scroll out,the game just crashes to desktop..i cant seem to find any fixes for it..my game is patched latest..v3251..

for battlefield 2..everytime i try to patch the game to the latest patch..when i run the game..it crashes back to desktop..black screen then crash..some people said that its punkbuster problem..but i updated it..i think..and still no use..

could it be because of my processor problem? coz i check in cpuz it only states 6 multipliers..should be 9..

Hard Disk problem

Hey recently i reformatted my pc becoz of a virus attack..after reformatting..everything was fine until i found that my harddisk have been "split into two"..i only have one harddisk with 40gb of space..and should only have the C: drive..but after reformatting,it split into C: and D: drive..with the C: drive only having 1.86gb and the rest of the space is with D: drive..how could this happen?is my hard disk spoilt? is there any way i can merge them together? pls help..

Flashget's being really annoying these days.. when i wanna download a torrent using bitcomet,flashget pops up ..how do i disable the torrent download for flashget? i try searching through the tools etc but found nth..and when i wanna use flashget to download demos,bitcomet pops up which is pretty annoying as well..so my questions are..

how to disable torrent download for flashget 1.82 and
how to disable ie download for bitcomet the latest version..

Hi everyone..i just wanna know the difference between real power and extreme power PSUs...I am finking of upgrading my rig and this is wat i think ill get..

Icute 0408SL-SS Casing with 500w Twin Fan Power Supply Unit

my main concern is that the PSU that comes with the casing wont support the 8800...so i wanna buy a better PSU just to be safe..

my budget? atleast a 500 watts PSU at less than 250..theres lots of extreme power PSUs from coolermaster that i can choose from..but i dunno if they can support the graphics card..so pls help..wat is the difference between real and exteme power? can extreme power 500watts support that rig?

and another question..are there any shops in lowyat that sells Icute 0408SL-SS Casing without the PSU? and how much it costs?
