New way of throttling?

Is TMNet using a new method of throttling. Now I find that if I am running uTorrent everything else comes to a complete halt. I cant browse cos it says site or server not found. Same with email as it says there is no such server as pop3.tm.net.my. The moment I close down uTorrent and I can retrieve email as well as browse again. Is this something to do with assigning all packets to the lowest priority so that everything times out?

So the situation now is that besides getting torrent downloads throttled to almost zilch, browsing, usenet and email all comes to a halt.

Yeah thats why they say Malaysia Boleh! Streamyx can definitely be regarded as amongst the worst broadband service in the world. Another dubious record for Malaysia.

Its sad that despite slogans like Multimedia SuperCorridoor the Govt has allowed a whole bunch of incompetents to run the broadband show and made a laughing stock of all Malaysians in the eyes of the world.

Chinning Bar-Where to buy?

Anyone knows where I can buy them "doorway chinning bar", the kind that you extend by 'unscrewing' and jam across a doorway. Years ago I had one of these el-cheapo's that were made in PRC but I cant seem to find them these days.
Any info appreciated.

omg uTorrent maxing out at 60+ kB/sec compared to 3-5 kB/sec for the past month or so. Does this mean that the APCN2 submarine cables are fully repaired? Could it be that TMNet has removed its throttling of p2p?
