AC98 Gallery of Images

My old gallery is here : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/330920

My images are mostly simple, non-artsy and easy references for accurately portrayed images. Images are like easy-to-understand languages, people can learn and follow thru and this is what photography supposed to be, learn and share and learn. Images tell a lot of stories but I tend to not beat around the bush becoz I am not a story teller. There are a lot of offensive critiques out there but I am not here to post-and-defend, I am here to educate and give simple answers to simple questions so my images provide a difference approach to all viewers, be it newbies or experienced photographers.

I dun claim to know everything but I will answer as much questions regarding photography as possible, within topic of course.

So ... on with the shots! Unless stated, all images are taken using the 2001 model of the Canon EOS 1D. Some quick specifications :

- Magnesium body and environmentally sealed
- 4.48 Megapixel CCD Sensor
- 1.3x Crop Factor
- Simultaneous RAW + JPEG format images (selectable)
- Maximum burst speed of 8 fps up to 21 JPEG or 16 RAW
- ISO 200 - 1600 in 1/3 stop steps
- 45 AF Points (auto or selective)
- Evaluative, partial, center-weighted, spot and multi-spot metering
- Shutter speed range: Bulb, 30 - 1/16000 sec (1/500 Flash X-sync)
- IEEE 1394 Connectivity
- CF Type I or II (inc.
Why you should go to Super GT 2007

The Japan GT ... now called Super GT as it is being held across the globe, from its hometown Japan all the way to Malaysia and the United States. The Super GT features fast cars, cute Japanese racequeens and fast paced in-paddock action. With this, I wanna <s>poison</s> invite all DSLR, prosumer and point-and-shoot members of LYN to join me in this interesting and fun event this year (and the years to come) ...

Even for 2 years back, we have an influx of Malaysian girls gracing the event, from pre-event pagents to roadshows to promos. Our girls will all be there and you can see all of them, none of them weren't offered jobs for this hot motorsport event. If you're not the 'girl' type, you can check out the fast cars, off-circuit events i.e concerts by local artist, race parties, etc. It's all there!

This thread is specially dedicated to this 'religious' event. "Once you're caught, you're hooked! And you're a Believer"

This year, the Super GT will be held on the 22nd - 24th of June at Sepang Intl Circuit.

AC's Gallery

Hi, it's ac98 here. I registered months ago by only decided to post now. Some of my friends said you people are a very helpful bunch, especially on the IT side. I am also an IT person, but love to take photographs as well.

I started shooting 6 years ago with film and only went digital about 2 years back. The major difference was WORKFLOW. Firstly, the digital workflow changed the way not only consumers take and handle their photos but also the way professionals capture their images and submit their work. The second, but the most wonderful thing in digital photography was RETOUCHING, nothing disappoints anyone most than having captured an importrant moment just to find out that the photo was slightly blurred or was too dark. Everyone loves the digital camera now.

Here are some of my work ...

Taken during 2006 Japan GT - From Top : Selina, Devon and Clarace
