Why Can not install MS Office into WinXP

Just want to check with you whether you guys ever experience any difficulty on installing Ms OFFICE into WinXP? BUt I can installed others software into it.

It installed half way and then HUNG...

Windows XP with Windows Installer error

HI there... just want to check with you guys whether you ever come across a problem on Windows Installer.
really need advice on this.

Lately, I found that my OS booting time is very slow, but managed to resolve it by reinstalled the OS using windows CD.
BUt right after I reinstalled, I has the windows installer error. Everytime when I want to install new software, it will stop me to continue installing the software with any error message,
"Windows Installer
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windowds in safe, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance."

Now, I can't installed any new software.

Really need help to resolve this problem. I've try those suggestion which I found online and still can't get a good solution?

Windows XP Media Center Startup SLOW

Dear Guys or gals,

Need help here, my 6 months old Acer Aspire with Windows Media Center have a problem or slow start up for the past 1 week.. Can anyone guide me on resolve this problem.
FYI, I've scan for virus, Scan hard disk. scan RAM and spyware, but it seem like none of it causing the SLOW DOWN... but when I Log into Safe mode, it allow me to log into my desktop in a short period of time.

need help here... Who is expert here in WMC?

Guys,

since I can't find a topic on the above laptop, therefore I wish to post a thread regarding this laptop.
Lately my company purchase it and I'm in charge to upgrade the OS from Media center to XP pro and found out that none of the modem driver downloaded from their works with the hardware? weird!!

Since this laptop doesn't come with drivers CD, then therefore, I got to sent it back to Acer Service center to load in the hidden partition and the original OS.

Just wanna to check with you guys whether is:
1) possible to extract the drivers from the hidden partition?
2) Can I backup the hidden partition into CD or DVD's since the partition come with 4.3 GB size?
3) what software that they use to hide the partition?
4) Since I got license for the windows media center, why don't Acer provide me a recovery disk like last time? Weird!!

What ever questions I bring up to the service center, then will always SAY can not backup and can not do this and can not do that!!! sigh.. why dont they provide with recovery disk and drivers disk?

need helps here. found that my acer travelmate 3 series arm rest surface will released charges and user will feel electrical or current shock. Need help on this. Anyway to collect get a paint which might cover the surface of the arm rest and maintain the original looks of the notebook surface?
