I read a lot about it and its supposedly even better than Haagen-Dazs with a lot of imaginative wacky flavors and its all natural as well. The descriptions are really mouth-watering and I wanna get a pint and taste lol.
Help! Sprites in J2ME

I am programming a modified checkers game in J2ME, and I need to use custom sprites for the piece graphics. The pieces also have levels like an RPG, so when they level up, their sprites change to different images as well. Eg. a triangle levels up to a square, then a hexagon.

What's the best way to handle all the sprites? If you don't want to read my method its fine, scroll past the code...but right now I'm doing:

// load all images into their respective variables
triangle = Image.createImage("triangle.gif");
square = blabla...
triangleOpponent = blabla...

// load a sprite array for the local player and opponent(actually would work with just one array of size 24...12 pieces for each side)
localSpriteArray = new Sprite[12];
opponentSpriteArray = new Sprite[12];

// then initialize the arrays with Sprite objects
for(int i = 0; i < 12; i++) {
localSpriteArray[i] = new Sprite(triangle);
}
for(int i = 0; i < 12; i++) {
opponentSpriteArray[i] = new Sprite(triangleOpponent);
}

// then when looping the paint method in the main game loop,
// I'm iterating through i,j in my "ghost grid" which holds all the piece information
// If it shows there is a piece there, I will do:
localSpriteArray[index].setImage(triangle, IMG_SIZE, IMG_SIZE);
localSpriteArray[index].setPosition(i*squareSize, j*squareSize);
index++;

// the index starts at 0 btw, then at the end of every paint loop I
// make it 0 again. The image used in setImage depends on what type of piece is
// in this ghost grid.

Anyone can tell me of a better way to make and hold all the sprites? Or any suggestions at all, please...

Anyone know what the "Caj Agrn Tambahan" means? I think its Estimated Additional Charges amirite? How do they get that number and do they reduce the next month's charges based on the previous months Caj Agrn Tambahan? It just seems like a ghost number that they simply add without deducting from the next months bill.

Just asking cause I though I could take care of it by brushing behind in my mouth correctly, but recently I've been having problems with them and today my right wisdom tooth started bleeding suddenly with some pain when eating, sigh.

The dentist said it would cost Rm1-2k to remove both teeth unless I do it at a university hospital, but I don't want students botching up my surgery :/ Who wants untrained hands performing surgery on them anyway..

For those who didn't remove it, if possible please state how old you are now and whether you have/had any problems.
For those who removed it, please state the cost of the surgery and where u performed it..thanks a lot.

Just wanted to share 3 sites and hopefully answer some questions before they sprout.

Calorie calculator

BMI, bodyfat calculator

Now, I'm not saying the body fat is accurate, but I think its a pretty close estimate. Not applicable if you're a bodybuilder of course.

And this is a very good site for beginners about weight loss, nutrition, daily calorie intake, and muscle building tips: http://www.acaloriecounter.com/weight-loss.php#section18
That site probably answers like 90%+ of all the weight loss questions possible.

See their 'Nutrition Articles' for all their topics.

Pushups and chinups

Can I do pushups/chinups 6 days a week?

Lets say I can complete a set of 5 pushups now, and I can only do 5 negative chinups in a row before fatigue. Can I do like 3 sets each of pushups/chinups everyday, or do I need to workout only 3 times a week to rest my muscles?

I already tried doing pushups 3 days a week, and I progressed from not even being able to complete 1 rep two months ago, to being able to do 5 in a row now. But that is EXTREMELY slow progress and I'm wondering if I can speed this up.

I read a lot of conflicting information on forums and am not sure of this, anyone have experience in this?

p.s. I love doing chinups, the first time I did them my forearms and abs were sore the next day, super workout!

Please help, questions about workout at home

First, I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else, I have read lots of threads already and still have some lingering questions.

I don't have access to a gym and have a couple of 10kg dumbbells at home, and am planning to get a chin-up bar soon.

Right now my exercises consist of squats, bent over rows, overhead shoulder presses, bicep curls, and pushups. To get an idea of my fitness level, I'm 5 feet 11 inches, 165 pounds, and I have the strength to do 1-2 full pushups only before doing the rest on my knees or inclined.

I'm trying to do mostly compound exercises to build the most muscle and to save time. I read its better for beginners anyway.

Atm I'm doing squats, bent over rows and overhead presses 1 day, and pushups, bicep curls the next. So 3 days of each making 6 days a week working out, and resting 1 day. Is this wrong? I read beginners should only workout 3 days a week cos working out 2 days in a row isn't recommended even if its a different body part, but I usually spend 45mins+ each day already, and combining all the exercises into 1 day would easily make it last more than an hour. Should I change?

During the workouts, I try to keep within 8-12 reps and 4 sets. But usually after resting 1-2mins after my 4th set, I still can continue on doing like 8 reps of another set. Should I just stop after a certain amount of sets even if I have the energy to do more or just continue until I can't even do a single rep more?

I'm just a casual working out at home looking to get a slightly muscular body like most movie actors and got all my info reading online only. If anyone can suggest a better workout timetable/other exercises to include for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks for reading the long post and even bigger thanks for any advice.
