Samsung 953bw LCD problem

HELP.

It's a new unit, the LCD light behind it goes on for like 2 seconds then goes dark but I can see the display inside every time it detects display signal. It happens like this even in BIOS and during I play with the options menu.

I've tried VGA and DVI, same problem.

It's a new unit.

Ok being dead honest. The card needs a decent PSU with decent 12V rails and cooling. If not there will be some 3D artifacts, the 2D is fine. I've tried it on a chapalang 500w, the card needs the voltage tuned down so it would be stable but fine on a real power 550w.

This card was the 2nd ATi I've used and is amazed how you can modify the voltage via software. I assume this is the 'wanted' x1900GT aka Rev.1 because it can do that.

If you have doubts, I can record a video of me playing it overclocked a bit (not extreme). The reason I'm giving a full money back test guarantee.

Hi,

I was installing when suddenly a loud bang came from the PC. It was the CD drive! Quickly I turn off the PC and noticed the front bezel of the DVD drive got bent.

Took the drive out, the CD inside was smashed to pieces. Called my friend (the owner), told me he RMA before, same problem.

Happened to you before? Maybe we should avoid certain brands of drives/media.

Volvo mechanics around Johor Bahru

Hi,

Been sending the relative's vehicle to this regular mechanic (not going to state where, PM me if you really need to know), but every time we have to send it back to fix it. Also once, they tried to charge RM200 to fix/buy component for the door lever, tried another shop that charged RM20. It was a common problem, the component would drop below.

If you know of any mechs that you could recommend, I'd appreciate it.
