NokMote

To all the proud owner of N95 and N95i (easier to type aka 8GB), may I present to you NokMote. The best Nokia symbian application that I've seen so far. Very useful for gaming.

Same concept like RotateMe and Inclinometer symbian applications. But this is really useful and kick iPhone's ass.

Nevertheless, the -ve points about this application are:
1) You may accidently drop the phone.
2) The internal components of the phone may get damage easily due to much of movement....?
3) You might get a headache coz you need to keep your eye on the screen while in motion.
4) The phone needs to be faced up. Which means, whenever you lie down on your back (say on bed), NokMe will do other things. So in my bed, I need to lie on my tummy
5) You still need to press the softkeys to use "Option", "Back" or other softkeys' menu.
6) Not sure it works on E-series or other Nokia models....

Official Developer for NokMote

celcom Minutes+HSDPA+Datacard = incoming calls?

Can anyone confirm whether we get CLIP / Missed call message while browsing using HSDPA+Datacard? Of course this feature does not apply to celcom D120 3G package.

What i mean is i plug my minutes plan + 3G SIM card into any USB datacard (eg Huawei E220), will i get notified for any incoming calls/SMSs? Or is it totally disabling calling function when i use the datacard?

Dopod 595+3.5G+notebook = mobile torrent?

Forumers...

I'm abit confused now. Is 3.5G or 3G can torrenting/emuling via notebook (usb connection...)

I'm planning to adopt Dopod 595 (which supports 3.5G) + Celcom 3G (i.e. Postpaid+Streamyx=RM88 package) + notebook connecting my 595 via USB...

I know the 3G coverage is not reliable... but i'm working near KLCC which I assume supposed to have great 3.5G connection.

Any inputs?

[WTA] Cheapest ORIGINAL 3G phone is....

3G lovers...

Looking/surveying the cheapest ORIGINAL set of 3G phones in local market today.

Don't care about features (eg. 3G speed, camera resolution, secondary video call, etc.) but compatibility is a must. Heard that some Moto model (V3x I guess...) does not support/compatible with Maxis 3G. Any Maxis/Celcom use 3G on these phones ===> http://www.maxis.com.my/3g/latest3G_phone.asp

Anyway... I'm planning to adopt Celcom 3G. Any recommendations?

Modified: Please do not discuss about 3GX...HSDPA...or 3.5G...
