Job Enlistment Posts

Why do Job Enlistment is filled with "PM sent" and "email sent" posts. This differs from Wacky's topic http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=505943 as I am discussing those with legit job offering topics and not scam topics. Why do the people that send "PM sent" and "email sent" posts when it is pointless. The owner of the PM account and email account knows how to check them themselves. Or even "pm me the detail" posts. Can be easily done by just clicking on the PM button and PM the TS directly. (unless the TS PM folder is full.. But that's another story)

Why I'm complaining about it is because:
1. It is plain pointless as said above.
2. It clutters up the topic and when real people asks question and the question is answered in the topic, it's hard to spot them.
3. It wastes LYN's database space =D (And bandwidth too for loading the "PM sent please check" etc.)
4. Annoying me a lot thus the creation of this thread =P

Can report button work for these pm-sent-infested-zombies too? > < Too many to ban but if maybe a rule is being set up and reminded it will be less posts like this on LYN Job Enlistment from now on?

Some example topic being infested with useless posts.
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/839164
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/862543

Some example of topic should be which is less infested with useless posts and how a topic should be like so that interested individuals can read up and learn more about the job.
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/865283
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/745046

Vsound VS-R02

VSound Well Balanced Professional Earphones VS-R02

Hi guys =D Here's the story, 2 weeks ago GodLuvSxS approached me asking me whether I would like to try a new set of earphones or not after he saw my post about me ranting with discontent about my new Mylar Bijou 3. All I had to do is throw my address to him. So I did and I was greeted with Vsound VS-R02 a few days later. We shall call it Vsound R02 in short. Anyway to play part of my bargain, I have to write this review. I know it might be noobish or unprofessional in anyway but I'm just a regular music listener trying his best =) So here goes nothing....

Accessories
The whole box is designed okay trying to be elegant. When you open the box, you can see the earphones itself snugly fitted within the box, a pouch, a pair of large flange, a pair of small flange, a pair of foam and by default fitted with a small double flange which I used basically throughout the testing. The double flange is very comfortable opposed to the foams and the flange provides good isolation as well.

Design
The design is pretty unique and it can't be hidden when you wear it I think since it's a lil protruding out. The only good thing I can find from it is it's smaller tip in the end allows you to pinch and remove the earphones easier since with most isolation earphones, when there's no where to grab some might opt to snag the end of the wire connecting to the earphones which would harm it I guess. The wiring is pretty light and solid plus made out of kinda rubbery material makes it very.. grippy.

Sound Quality
Testing Equipment: Zen MicroPhoto
Testing Songs: Lots of different Mp3s, latest Mp3 English songs, lots of anime songs too since they are usually high quality album rips with variety in instruments, vocals and effects.

The sound quality of Vsound VS-R02 can be said to be quite similar to Mylar's X3. R02 in short sounds like speakers without subwoofers or laptop speakers. This doesn't mean that it's bad. You'll still have your midbass but those lower ends of the frequency feels like it's cut off, meaning that your bass would have no depth. Example, beats that creates sound like "dumm~ dumm~" is replaced with tiny "dup~ dup~" =) Yes. That's right. At sometime it may feel that you are lacking something in the song, but that is quickly replaced by awesome clear mid-range sounds. You can hear the vocals clearly, sound of every guitar strum, beeps and even whispers. One thing is done right about the R02 is that the mids are very impressive. I can't explain in detail like all other audiophiles regarding the mid range, but I can assure you that it sounds very good and value for money for a budget earpiece. Even when taken directly out of the box without any burn-in, I can feel that the mids are outstanding. The treble is produced well too. No high pitch sound to hurt your ears whatsoever.

Add-on: After 2 weeks of burn-in I can feel that the bass has more depth. Not too strong but at least now it gives more impact a little opposed to when I got it at first.

Though it's unfortunate I don't have a X3 with me to compare it directly because I would think it would be a nice comparison to be done. But in comparision with the Mylar Bijou 3 that I have with me currently, instead of thick vocals and dark mids that I have on the Bijou 3, I have clear and bright mids on the R02. Although the bass in Bijou 3 is sometimes welcoming but most of the time overpowering the mids and vocals, and I would say I rather have bassless R02 as my earpiece to enjoy a song and pick up bits and pieces of songs which can't be picked up usually on the speakers and having a nice soundstage hearing different positions of instruments, effects and vocals can be a blast and enjoyed a lot.

For a budget isolated earpiece and for those who want to try another earpiece that can give a taste of clarity compared to the stock one can give this a try. And for the price you are paying (assuming how much the price GodLuvSxS told me was true...) you can't go wrong. For those who wants a basic isolation earpiece to use in buses, trains or to isolate any annoying sound this is perfect for you.

Knocking sound & vibration

Just yesterday I am freaked out by my car making knocking sounds. The knocking sound is accompanied by vibration too.

To tell you when the knocking comes up.

1. It only happens when I rev up the engine to move the car. About 2k RPM the car is very scary =P Knock in interval of every 1-2 secs. Regularly. Not occasionally.
2. When I put to free gear or release the trottle then no problem already. It doesn't have the knocking sound and act like normal.
3. Sound and vibration feel like coming from middle front. A little in front from where the driver is sitting.

Extra info: Tyres all ok so far. No puncture detected. Kicked it a little to see whether it's secure in place. Confirmed no problem. Been using RON 92 for the past 1000km.

Any sifu can help me? Is this considered as engine knocking?
Safety belts on the rear seats

My kancil has no rear safety belts. Since the gov gonna enforce the rear safety belt rule sooner or later I was wondering how much accessory shops will charge for it? Wanna survey price first before kena chop ~.~

Gateway and DNS server timeout

Broadband provider
ISP/package: TMNet
Location: Melaka
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: TZ3200c
Router: N/A
Firewall used: Bitdefender

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Yesterday
Problem frequency: Everytime
Problem description:

Anyway, I wanna ask about the "ping"ing Gateway and DNS server timeout. If it often frequent it's bad rite? I'm pretty sure it's not my side problem. Cos I've tried it with 2 different coms, with and without the splitter, 2 different modems. I called TMNet hotline and I get some stupid workabouts.

And the FAQ didn't mention a lot about this problem.. So I should call TMNet again to do sth about it?

Due to this a few times have to refresh before webpage loads. But when I can load it , it loads freakin fast.

P.S. SNR is about 20 FYI
