How to check the age of the properties?

As I'm looking around houses for sales, sometime, it's a challenge for me to know about the age of the houses. When asking agent, different agents give different answers...anyway I can check about it somewhere besides asking the residents there?

Question about blogspot

I have 2 questions about blogspot.

1) How to remove the search blog bar at the top of the blogspot?

2) Can I fix a particular post as the first post permanently? Means that, the page will remain as top, and new posts will only displayed as second post.

Move blogger to Wordpress

Im going to move all the posts and comments from my current blogspot to wordpress which I host myself. I know wordpress has the feature to import directly from blogger. I have tried, it directs me to the google login page, after I login and grant access, all my blogs appear in the wordpress dashboard. Once I click Import, then the button changes to Continue and nothing happens.

Anybody can help?

No more network connection

Recently my laptop has problem to go online, the network connection is gone. When try to dial up to internet, there is error message saying that service are not installed.

After checking, few services are not available in services.msc. They are Telephony, Remote Access Connection Manager and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager.

When I check on the task manager, there is no svchost.exe running.

I suspect the anti virus has detected the svchost.exe as spyware and remove it, but I still can find svchost.exe in Windows/system32 folder.

Anybody got idea how to restore the services?

I have just format my PC and install Windows XP with SP2. After this, I can connect to Izzi without problem, I can surf internet, but after around 5 minute, I can't surf internet anymore, any website also can't. It's weird that when I type www.thestar.com.my, at the status bar of IE there indicating www.www.thestar.com.my.net, then it will prompt me error message saying can't open the page. I have tried with Firefox, still same, can't surf internet. But I can ping any website, like www.google.com or www.tm.net.my.

After I disconnect the Izzi and connect back, I can surf internet for 5 minute, then can't again...this goes repeatedly.

Can anyone help me on this issue? FYI, before I format the PC, it's Windows XP with SP1, I have no problem to surf net, just a bit slow caused of trojan I believe.

Windows Explorer closed automatically

Recently, every time I click on that folder or point the folder with mouse, error will prompt out and the windows explorer will close automatically. The folder is in My Document. The other folders are all ok without problem. Only one particular folder has this problem. Do you have any idea on this? I wish to keep my data in that folder.

How to format laptop if no CDROM?

My laptop has malware problem, always come out with bluescreen. In the bluescreen, it states the problem is caused by spoolsvv.sys.

I wish to format my laptop, but the CDROM can't function anymore and I don't want to replace the CDROM. I have external CDROM and HDD, but my laptop can't boot from USB. How I can format my laptop? The OS Im using is WinXP and File System is NTFS.

Can I do window repair to remove the malware? Or the malware will be still there even I repair the Windows?

spoolsvv.sys

My laptop sometime will come out bluescreen, and in the message, I can see that the error might be caused by spoolsvv.sys.

What is this file? I try google before, it's something like malware. I try to delete this from the registry and also this file in the system32 folder. However, after some days, the file appear again...How to solve this?

I know formatting is one of the ways to solve this, but Im facing problem on formatting, as my laptop CDROM is damage. I have no way to format it using WinXP CD.

I just bought a new DLINK Wireless DSL 2640T modem. I have configured the username and password, but it cannot connect to the internet. The status is always waiting for response. Anything else I need to configure? I have no problem to access to the modem using wireless. I just cannot get connected to streamyx. I have tried different telephone cables and splitters. The status LED at the modem is blinking indicating normal. What I can do?

GPRS

I have SE Z550i. I have set the MMS and WAP settings. Anyway, do I need to set for the GPRS as well? Or it's already set when I set the MMS settings?

I want to ask how to set different ringtones for different callers? Previously I use Nokia 3315, I can set which ringtones for certain caller number, and other ringtones when different caller number calling...How to do this in SE?

Another issue is, how to set different wallpaper for different profile? Nokia can do this, but don't know how to set it in SE...

I'm going to change my handphone, my budget is around RM600. Now, considering Motorola SLVR L7 and Sony Ericsson K510i. Both price almost same, Motorola has bigger memory and SE has better camera. I'm in dilemma...

Sun Storage

I have a Sun Storage 6140, Sun Fire server and a HP server. I wish to connect both Sun and HP servers to the Sun storage using Fiber Channel. I have installed HBA card in both servers respectively. Can I connect both servers to the storage? Do I need any license for that?

FYI, Sun server is running Solaris 10 and HP server is running Linux AS3.

Format PC without CDROM

I'm a newbie in stock investment. I'm more to the way which we choose a stock based on the company's financial conditions, rather than just follow the news and rumours...

So, can you gurus share how to do the financial analysis for the listed companies? I wish to learn on this...

So far, I know we need to compute some financial ratio such as debt-asset ratio, profit margin, and etc... This info can be got from the annual report financial statements...

Digi Supplementary Family Unlimited Plan

I read newspaper advertisement that Digi comes out with this plan called Family Unlimited Plan. The call between principal and supplementary is free. However, I can't find any info in Digi website. Anybody has details info for this?
