Exxon Surpasses Apple as World’s Most Valuable Com

(NEW YORK) — Exxon has once again surpassed Apple as the world’s most valuable company after the iPhone and iPad maker saw its stock price falter.

Apple Inc.’s stock has been on the decline since its earnings report earlier this week. It dropped 2 percent Friday to $441.30 for a market capitalization of $414.5 billion. Exxon Mobil Corp. gained 13 cents to $91.48 and has a market capitalization of $417 billion.

Apple’s earnings results, posted Wednesday, suggested that its fast growth phase, rare for a company of its size, may be coming to an end. On Thursday, the stock saw its biggest one-day percentage drop since 2008.

Apple first surpassed Exxon in the summer of 2011. The two companies traded places through that fall, until Apple surpassed Exxon for good in early 2012.

Everyone enduring the Friendzone Blues, it sucks. I'll agree. But there is a solution. The rant about girls preferring a**holes over nice guys is a popular one, and to some extent, true. However, something you seem to be overlooking is that it is, by no means, all girls.

You notice noticeable girls. Noticeable girls are generally the attractive ones. Stereotypically they have decent assets , and features that render them attractive/desirable. Everyone sees that, and everyone responds to it. That usually results in girls with those traits becoming accustomed to having people chasing after them. The lookers BECOME the popular bit**es by the way everyone treats them. Even if they're not b**chy, they tend to hang around with girlfriends who are, and so on. They end up with the assholes who are most bolshie and outgoing, because they get their attention most. Then you sit on your asses and whine about them not going for nice guys.

There is one subtle fact you haven't noticed...

HALF OF THE POPULATION IS FEMALE. Instead of sitting and whining about nice guys being ignored, get the **** out of your room, and take up something you enjoy. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it involves seeing other people. Half of those people will be female. Try getting into a sport, or playing DOTA, or any number of random things you can fill your free time with. Don't do it to find a girl, just be aware that there will be girls, and they will not be the girls who get by on looks alone and tend to be b****y stereotypes, but they will be nice girls who you share an interest or two with. Get to know them, if there's the potential for more, then go for it. There is nothing more fulfilling than a relationship founded on personality compatibility. Sex will be far better with someone you like than someone you desire, and if you have a meaningful relationship, then sex is not what matters most. Honestly, I speak from experience. The relationship goes first, the sex follows, and it's all the better for it.

Now you resign to your last defence – the pathetic, whiny rant about how ‘your girl’, the one who has friend zoned you, is so perfect for you and wonderful, and how no other girl could ever hope to live up to her, and so you’ll never be able to get over her. 9/10 of that whining is nonsense, the last 1/10 revolves around one thing. Uncertainty. That tiny, tiny chance that you could end up with the Girl Of Your Dreams who’s always crying on your shoulder. Once that is removed, you can deal with everything else. Uncertainty is the one thing that we are unable to deal with, because there’s nothing to tackle, issue-wise. Easy solution – remove the uncertainty. “But how?” you ask. Simple…

Ask her out. Don’t be subtle, don’t be shy. Just do it. The sooner you know the answer, the sooner you can stop clinging to that tiny, pathetic chance that you’ve convinced yourself exists. Don’t hide behind “Our friendship is too precious,” because you know full well that whatever friendship is there is eating you up inside and stopping you getting anywhere else in life on your own. That’s not good for you. Don’t pretend that “No other girl could be like her,” because how would you know?! You’ve had your head so far up her ass, probably for years, that you wouldn’t have a clue if every other girl in the world had the most incredible persona, and got along with you amazingly well. Get out there and find out.

Write it down in a text, an email, an IM, anything. Make sure you explain all your feelings for her in clear terms. Don’t go overboard, you don’t want to scare her unnecessarily by telling her you’d jump off a cliff for her, etc. At the end, pose a clear question, asking if she feels the same, or if she’d want to take it to the next level. Hover over the ‘send’ button, close your eyes, take a deep breath, count to three, and press it. If you didn’t press it, do it again until you do. “If you count to three enough times, you can do anything.” If the answer is anything other than yes, DON’T LIE TO YOURSELF ABOUT THERE BEING A CHANCE. That will ruin you. Be a f***ing man, recognise that she said no, and move on. …you know full well that whatever friendship is there is eating you up inside and stopping you getting anywhere else in life on your own.” Leave it, and start out fresh, like I detailed earlier.

So in conclusion, SORT YOUR CURRENT MESS THE **** OUT, GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE, DO SOMETHING YOU LIKE AND MEET GIRLS. REAL GIRLS. NICE GIRLS.
