Problem details
First occurence of problem:-
Problem frequency: -
Problem description: -Jz recently me com gt electricuted..so i had to get a new modem and network card
-My com has no prbs when its a direct connection, frm the modem straight to the com
-But when hving to go through the router even the network card doesn't have light
-I cannot get me modem to automatically connect to streamyx..i hv to use the dial up method when i want Internet connection on me desktop
-My router shud hv no issues as when the the modem is connected to da router (router nt connected to desktop) my laptop upstairs is able
to browse the internet

M i missing something here?

please help me guys, i m sure its an ez prb to u guys thanks

Hi all,

anyone else manage to see the myvi? white? didn't quite catch the no. plate..

wanted to take pics..but caught off guard..coz ngam ngam round the bend a man waving a lighted stick as a warning sign..had to slow dwn real quick..

i was there at 6.30am..3 lane road became 1 lane road..fireman and police and tarik kereta ppl were all there..looked damn ass serious

E36 crash

Anyone of u saw the crash? i tink jz happened oni (before 2am 03.05.2008)

LDP heading frm 1u to ss2 ->mobile petrol station on the left..the E36 was knocked up pretty bad..i tink he was trying to make a u -turn mebbe too fast into the corner..

the car was in the middle of the u -turn(heading bk to 1u)..the car's position was parallel to the petrol station..the front seriously gone..it was like it knocked into the concrete pillar which supports the LDP highway..

could be a beemer TT as there were 2 or 3 more beemers there...

hi there all...

jz wondering..do u guys warm up ur car engine before u drive??

I was reading a QnA in the Malaysian Evo mag..

a guy posted a ques asking hw the car's engine shud b warmed up...

the answer given was:

if like crazy engine (racing)...start engine..rev kau kau for a couple of times...den off engine..den start the car and start moving..

if norm car...start engine..keep rpm around 2500...wait for a couple of seconds or so den start moving...

what abt u guys??

I personally jz start me engine..wait for a minute or more..den start moving..even when i start moving for the first 10mins me thinks i dun like go above 2500rpm...

hw abt stopping like before v get out of our car for some time?? any procedures??

hi there fellow forumers..

i wud like to hear ur experiences up and dwn genting..
lets start v me experience..

lets see...

the fastest car i hv been up and dwn genting is in a silver top 1.6 seg corrolla
1992 model..

i though i was fast once when going up..but then came this yellow civic (tai ngan
chai)..u all knw the model rite??

hmm..that guy overtook me..on the outside lane as most corners..da car i was in
used the innest most lane..

the civic continued going up..on the outside lane even through corners... he was
going really really fast..seriously..i cundn't even see his tail lights..his techinique
was realli funny..he jz kept on the outside lane..

i m sure most of u wud hv seen even taxis..using the outside then cutting bk in..
but this civic on the other hand..jz kept to the outside lane and was really fast..

hmm..how abt u guys??

Braking Techinques

hi there all..do come in n share ur braking techniques with all forumers..
talk abt pros and cons..
talk abt how it affects ur driving...(emergency/ corner entries..etc)

as far as i m concern..there are 3 basic braking techinques..
if there are anymore..plz do enlighten me

1. heel n toe
2. engine braking
3. left foot braking..

my fav..is actually da engine braking..dun have to step on brakes most of the time
as i mess around with the clutch and the gears..i do consider it save as no brake
light comes out frm me behind thus the person behind me need not feel panicky..
but when emergency or there are needs..sure la must step brakes..
i do feel engine braking provides the fastest entry speed into corners..

heel n toe??..hmm..still noob at it la..dun realli now how to utilize it..

left foot braking?? haihz!!!!!...i still need so so much more more training..
