Recently formatted this PC but somehow the driver I've downloaded from IBM/Lenovo at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-50535.html isn't working. I've checked the readme file it state that the file is somewhat just an update file. Been searching high and low but still couldn't find the real driver. If only I've got the onboard lan driver that would settle half the trouble I'm having because I've been using my boss's laptop to connect the internet searching for solution. Need to return it after he's back at the office. Can anyone help me? any IBM representative here? where can I get the cd driver? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

How to change language printing preferences?

I just got work at a new company. The thing is at my designated desktop the printer preference language is in Arabic and my boss ask me how to change it back to english language. I already explored all possibilities but still didn't found the solution. I thought the Arabic language only applies to the old printer but when I try to install new printer I encounter the same problem. Already checked at Language bar setting but seems nothing suspicious. All setting using US English. Can anyone help me out here, please? It would be highly appreciated

Plot

During a period of economic decline, the government of a totalitarian state commissions scientists to research ways for the nation to prosper. One scientist develops an artificially intelligent brain, but before it can be properly tested, it is taken away by the government to build the Fabrication Machine, which is used to provide labor for the people and creates machines for war. Eventually the Fabrication Machine snaps under pressure and turns against humanity, programming its machines to eradicate all forms of life. During the chaos, the scientist who invented the machine's A.I. creates a mysterious talisman and a set of nine numbered ragdoll-like "stitchpunks," hoping they will preserve humanity's legacy and allow life to continue. He brings them to life by transferring his soul into each of them, and dies as soon as he gives life to the final stitchpunk, numbered "9."

9 awakens in the scientist's laboratory, the world now a barren wasteland, and finds the scientist's talisman, which he instinctively takes with him. While exploring the ruined world, he encounters another stitchpunk, 2, who tells him of others like themselves before he is captured by the Cat Beast, which steals the talisman and takes 2 towards a towering factory in the distance. 9 escapes the attack and is found by the group of other stitchpunks consisting of 1, 5, 6, and 8, who have all been hiding in fear of the Cat Beast. 9 explains what happened to 2 and insists they save him, but 1 refuses to jeopardize their safety. 5, on the other hand, is convinced to help 9. The two enter the factory and save 2 from the Cat Beast, which is decapitated thanks to the timely arrival of 7. Noticing a socket shaped like the talisman, 9 inserts the talisman into it out of curiosity, only to have it open and inadvertently seal away 2's soul, leaving 2 lifeless. This reactivates the long-dormant Fabrication Machine, prompting 9, 5, and 7 to flee.

Seeking answers about the Fabrication Machine and the talisman, 9 is taken to meet 3 and 4, who reveal details about the machine's past, though they know nothing about the talisman. 5 tells 9 that 6 might have answers and return to the hideout, where 6 states they must "go back to the source," where the talisman's secrets can be found. 1, however, berates 9 for awakening the Fabrication Machine and argues that 9 will just lead them to more trouble. Suddenly, the hideout is besieged by the Winged Beast, a new machine created by the Fabrication Machine. Through a combined effort, the stitchpunks destroy the Winged Beast, though the hideout is burned down in the process. During their search for shelter, they are attacked by another new machine, the Seamstress, which kidnaps 7 and 8 and nearly kidnaps 1 as well, who is convinced to strike back against the machines.

9 infiltrates the machine factory where he is able to save 7 and destroy the Seamstress, though he arrives too late to prevent the Fabrication Machine from taking 8's soul with the talisman. 9 and 7 escape while others ignite a barrel of gasoline and roll it into the gas-filled factory, causing the building to explode and apparently destroying the Fabrication Machine. As the stitchpunks celebrate, 5 wanders off to find the Fabrication Machine is still active, and barely manages to warn the others before the machine steals his soul. During the ensuing chase, 6 tells 9 that the souls of the dead stitchpunks are trapped inside the Fabrication Machine when he too loses his soul, but not before he urges the others to return to "the source" rather than destroy the machine. Despite this, 1, 7, 3, and 4 plan to destroy the Fabrication Machine anyway, believing the dead souls cannot be saved. 9 decides to heed 6's final words and returns to the laboratory where he first awoke and found the talisman, determining it to be "the source."

Back in the laboratory, 9 finds a message from the scientist explaining how to use the talisman. When the others begin their attack on the Fabrication Machine, 9 returns with a plan to take the talisman back from the machine and use it to retrieve the souls, intending to bait himself to the machine and sacrifice his soul. 1, however, ultimately makes the sacrifice instead, allowing 9 to use the talisman to retrieve the souls, destroying the Fabrication Machine in the process. Afterwards, 9, 7, 3, and 4 set up a memorial for 1, 2, 5, 6, and 8. 9 opens the talisman and releases the souls, which scatter across the sky and bring life back to the world, leaving its future in the hands of the stitchpunks.

How come this movie isn't showing at Malaysia? Watching the trailers few months back I thought this movie gonna make it here. The trailer looks visually stunning, vastly imaginative with some actions. Guess I'm just gonna wait for the dvd release then *sigh*

I received sms asking me to activate call me tones, participating some stupid contest and the likes. I received this kind of messages almost everyday and sometimes twice or three times a day. I tried blocking the number using option I had in my phone but its not working. I still receiving this spam. I don't remember giving away my number to anyone or anywhere beside my close friends so I conclude this is from Celcom. Wondering is there anything I can do to stop those messages from coming in?

Yesterday I transfer some funds from my CIMB account to other party who using Maybank account but somehow the status is still 'accepted for processing '. It almost 24 hours now and I'm a little worried because the other party still not received the funds. So just want to know how long will it take to finish processing and I wonder if I can cancel the transaction because I forgot that there's a charge transferring to other bank?

Wanna ask how to confirm originality of a PS2 controller.

4 months ago, I went to a game shop with an intention to buy an original PS2 controller. Ask the seller in the game shop that I want an original PS2 controller. He then ask me again if I'm sure I want the original controller and after I say yes he then call some people to bring the controller from somewhere. I ask him why he did that because I saw one on the shelf and he told me that not original. Then, someone came with the controller and the seller gave the controller to me. The packaging is very doubtful making me ask him if that really an original PS2 controller. He said it is original but OEM thus the packaging. He then show me the comparison between the fake on the shelf and the original one. He said the button is softer (and it is) and Right/Left analog when you press it making a crisper/softer click (and it is) rather than a loud clack made by the fake. I ask him why its cheaper from normal retail I saw at a game shop in the mall nearby and he said because its an OEM and got no warranty (the price is RM59, whereas normal retail RM99). Upon seeing the proof and explanation from the seller I'm convinced and bought it.

Now, when I tried to sell it here at Garage Sales someone ask me whether its original or not because the packaging is very doubtful just like I experienced before I bought this controller. Even after the explanation he doesn't seem to convince even he interested to buy it thus he making me ask if there are some people here can explain how to check the originality of the controller. Using PS2 Controller + USB Converter to PC

Anyone here using PS2 controller with their PC with a USB converter? Need some help regarding the proper installation and configuration. BTW, I'm using this converter. The problem I encounter is all the game doesn't recognized the controller correctly. Some recognize all the wrong button (in Mirror's Edge & Gears of War the axis on Right analog all inverted = up > left : down > up : left > down something like that), some like PES2009 recognize correctly when assign to one player (controller 1) but when put it to 2 player (controller 2) it when chaotic and some doesn't even detected the controller. Its all normal when I configure it at Control Panel>Game Controller but when chaotic once in the game or game setting.

Already installed the latest driver, followed the manual but doesn't solve anything. Got any solution or can recommend better converter but I can't find anything better here in JB. Any help will be much appreciated

ps: I'm considering buying X360 controller if got no other solution. But such a waste on the current controller.

Active Desktop Recovery

I'm having this problem where this Active Desktop Recovery screen keep showing after I shutdown/restart the system PROPERLY. True at one time I'm forced to restart my system after it hang but after that I already click the button recover my active desktop and shutdown/restart properly yet I still encounter this annoying screen.
Can anyone tell me the cause of this problem and how to fix it?

Photoshop drop down list brushes flooded

A lil bit of problem here. I've downloaded a lot of brushes. Then, I copy and paste it in brush folder in Photoshop. The problem is I can't access them all because its too many and it can't seem to fit the drop down list of Photoshop brushes.
See image below for a clear situation.

So, any solution so that I can access all the brushes I've downloaded. I don't want to delete them then copy only brushes I need whenever I need to use any of them. What I'm trying to say is, is there any possible way to make the drop down list scrollable so I can still access all of them or any of that kind of solution. Anyone

Wireless Connection: Limited or No Connectivity

Can anyone tell me the causes of this situation? I use an usb wireless device aztech wl230usb which is same as my roommate whom having no trouble connect to the internet. My signal strength is about 20 - 30 % which is the same when I can connect to internet a while before. What I don't get it is why my roommate got no trouble connect to internet but me having this stupid message telling me that ' this is because the network didn't assign a network address to the computer '. Can anyone please tell me every possible condition which can led to this trouble? I'm having a big headache right now trying to figure out just what is wrong with my computer.

I'm currently in extended year in degree Science Computer major in Graphics and Multimedia but after a poor performance making me think about this profession. I've search about it a google and found out it quite a serious business out there. Kinda wandering if in Malaysia we got that kind of job. Searching it at JobStreet but didn't find any.

Hello, I'm not sure if this kind of topic ever post it here before. I tried search it but not found any so I assume there's none or maybe got deleted long time ago. I googled it, but most of it compared certain GC and only on recent technology. What I want to know is, what is the difference between ATI and NVIDIA in general? And what about frame buffer, pipeline architecture and stuff?

ps: Actually I've got assignment on topic Graphic Hardware Technology, so I kinda want to know more on academic points of view. Useful links on this topic is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Problem details
For unknown reason, there are few normal site that I couldn't open here. Sites like Windows site, Gamespot.com, Samurize.com, hotmail.com, Stage6.divxcom which is normal and ridiculous for the ISP here to block. On some site, the title bar is loaded but after I waited in the end it state that the connection was reset or taking too long too respond..Can anyone tell me what is really wrong here?
