My story

Hi

I am just want to share my story with all of you guys. Well before i start i don't have any girlfriend or have any serious relationship. When i was in high school I have a crush with my classmate. She is a sweet young gal but our relationship at that time was just friend. During that time there was other gals from other school who confess to me, but i never directly reject her. We go to the same tuition center (PMR). Well let go back to the gal that i have crush with, she is actually live very closed with me, consider in front of my house.

Everyday we walk together to school even after i am no longer her classmate. She is smart so always in the top class, well for me i am up and down i went from the last class to the top class vice versa. During our school days she got a lot of guy who ask her out, but never did get into a serious relationship, she often tell me her story in ICQ. That time icq was my way of communicate with her, I have problem with phone. My parents don't allow me to go out beside going to school, so i am more like a home person. For years we have been communicate through ICQ, and sometimes i often look out from my windows and she look out from her as well. I never ask her if she likes me or not and i dare not to tell her how i feel about her. I might say i am a coward and think that after i told her our friendship will be over.

Our relationship stay like that for a couple of years, until the end of high school (SPM) since SPM was over we (my classes mate) decided that we should go out and have fun until very late at night (supprisingly my parent didn't say a word about it), well since I am leaving nearby her house i was in charge to take her back at that night, well we never did went back straight that nite, instead we went to the sea shore (I was living on a big island so nearby sea shore) stay there chatting until the sun comes out. Well even with that kind of mood i finally realized that she might be interested in my as I am interested in her as well but i never say a word, so in the morning i told her that we should go back now if not her parents will scold me.

Anyway while i was driving her home as well as i was to go back home to have a good sleep while i was passed by the airport suddenly there was an accident. What i can remember from that moment is a Fokker crash to a village beside the airport which i was passing by that time and i was involved in it. The plane wing hit my car and drag to the village. Well that time i was flew a few meter from my car as the wing hit my side my door forced open. While i was toss out i saw her still inside and then there was a big explosion my vision was cover with flame and i was toss even further because of the impact from the explosion and drop to the ground unconscious.

That is the last thing that i remember. My parents told me i was in comma for 1 1/2 years. I was brought to KL hospital since then i never return back to my hometown. My memory of her still fuzzy but i will not forget her. Sometimes at night i will cry in the corner as i still have so many things i haven't told her.

I need some feedback it seem this sub forum isn't giving any good info on overall ISP in our country. Currently the isp talk about is streamyx, streamyx... and bit of maxis, here and there penangfon/metrofon. Other ISP don't know buried somewhere only god knows where it is. Try to make this topic as clean as possible. Don't reply unnecessary stuff like "okay", "thank you","TMNUT suck" and etc .... Remember you can use edit button to add your comment and not to reply multiple posts.
This is not rant, i just need a valuable feedbacks either negative or positive remarks. Lastly thank you.

AceR
cons: Low Resolution for 15", should have 1440x900 since have 8600GT. Does not offer any wireless N. Quite heavy and yet the webcam is only 0.3m. It offer only DDR2 for 8600GT, which is slightly lower than AsusG1s performance.
Pros: Attractive price,if given acer offer freedos/linux will be cheaper as having a decent graphic with large hdd capacity. Gaming performace as on par with Asus G1 except for Processor. Decent sound quality compare to the rest of the notebook.

BenQ
cons: Hdd space and graphic card should increase more. If compare to Acer give at the same level of spec, BenQ indeed looks more expensive. Sound quality just the typical average notebook.
Pros: Overall decent spec with light weight.

Performance of GT/GS :
Asus G1s with F3SV
Here is some idea how great is the performance of between Acer and BenQ at the same spec.

Defintion of "Gaming" Notebook.

Have you ever wonder the "Gaming" word normally having just a measly a G7400/X1400. This level of graphic can play most of the game at the border around 30fps at lowest setting. But if we determine by playing games even GMA950 can play warcraft we can say a gaming notebook. I believe that a gaming notebook should be consider if the notebook has x1600/G7600 or higher. Even with x1600/G7600 gaming not necessary will be smooth.

Modem Discussion

This is something i would like to share. I have been using 3 different modems.

SMC7904/SMC7901
This is the first modem that i used to connect to Streamyx overall i am happy with this modem. First firmware that i used was 0.24 and next i upgraded to 0.33 and 0.39. All this firmware works flawlessly. I have no problem in connect to internet,gaming or BT. BT speed averages 96kBps throught the day, it can max the speed at 110kBps. However there is problem with the modem as whenever connect to IRC it will always reboot the modem as the server required to check on proxy and virus. The problem can be solved by using DMZ enable.
The modem is configure using UPNP, port forwarding, firewall off/on and access filter must be disable to prevent any slow down. Whenever the firewall is on or off it does not effect the download speed nor block any IM.
This modem is very fragile whenever there is a thunderstrom it is not advisable to use it as it will screw the modem chip ( ie: upload speed drop to 64/96 kbps instead of 384kbps)

Aztech 600EU
The modem that i have been using after my smc modem sent back to factory. The modem come with firmware version 38.53.1-002. Overall the modem work below average, only certain time it will reach max at 80kBps. Overall the average speed reach was 40kBps throught the whole day. Now i am using firmware 62.53.2-002 (ADSL2+ enable), not much improvement compare to the previous firmware. The modem configuration setting was Firewall on by default, UPNP off and port forwarding enable. Firewall block MSN Messanger, so i off it eventually. Editted: I found that whenever i am using static Ip(reserved), my Bt suck. Remove the static ip help a lot in BT.

DSL 504T
This was my company modem to connect to Maxis ADSL BB (784/384). It work quite well, manage to max at 70-80kBps but averages at 40kBps. This modem can easily hang until it restarted. I tried to plug into a VOIP phone (hang unless port forward). Registered for VoipStunt ( program like Skype but giving out free phone call to LandLine) it hang again.
