I made changes to my router's ip. Did this and that and now i'm not able to access the web based interface through 192.168.1.1.

Thought of resetting but i dont see any any switch / button..??

Any idea??

Btw, router is 3com 3cr858-91.

Hello all

Currently my company is using a software which is installed in all the individual pc and connected to the Access database which is stored at the main server.

I've found an alternative to Access which is Base (Open office).

May i know, if possible, how do i make a software, the user interface, and connect it to the Base database? Any free / open source software which i can use to create the user interface?

Any other suggestion to make a software with database?

Hello guys, need help with this

Earlier on my company planned to host our email on our own server (Windows Server 2003). So most of the users who connects to the server were given their own windows xp pro username and login into a domain name. For example, the domain name is abc.com.

Now, since the vendor no longer maintaining our server. We do not know how to set our own email hosting on our own server. So we decided to host our email on a hosting company and we have set abc.com to point to that hosting company.

The problem is now, whenever we type abc.com from our network, we cannot access to that hosting company. If we search the internet for abc.com from outside our network, we manage to access abc.com. I believe, when we search abc.com from within our network, it will still point to our own server instead of the email hosting company.

Now, beside changing our server's domain name (from abc.com to whatever name), and ofcourse each user on our network we have to change their domain to point to the new domain name (which is troublesome and a lot of work and setting to be done), what else can we do?

Patching Windows when cannot access BSN website.

My company is paying the employees salary throught the BSN (Bank Simpanan Nasional) online website. The web url is as below:

Sometime, the website suddenly not accessable even when there's nothing wrong with the internet line. Other website is still accessable.

I've previously called BSN and talk to their IT person. According to them, the only thing that the user need is JAVA to be install in the pc.

My company is outsourcing the IT support. So everytime these things happen, we have to call the IT support and they will remote connect to our server and do patching on the server OS. They said from time to time microsoft will come out with new patches and the only way to resolve this issue is to patch the server OS.

What i dont understand is, when i call my other friends who is working in other company (big / small organisation), they are able to access BSN website. The cyber cafe downstairs also doesn't have this problem though i'm not sure whether they do update / patch their server from time to time. Even when i call those who's at home accessing the internet, they also can access the webite.

Few weeks ago, due to heat, some of the server's component spoilt, so our server cannot be run. So the internet line was straight connected to the network by-passing the server. Since then, there was not an incident where we cannot access the BSN website.

May someone help explaning the issue?
