KTM Serdang Taxi

Yesterday I was asked by my dad to take a Taxi home from KTM Serdang to Kampung Baru Serdang. To my horror, the taxi people are charging RM 15 for less than 3km! (Before the new ruling for Taxi fare to increase, 5km was roughly RM 5-6 with moderate jam. Though it was not from KTM Serdang).

I wish to know if anyone had faced this problem. If you did, how did you overcome this problem? Take bus?

Hi,

I'm a male and 18 this year, I have a rough and curly hair (not very curly, but quite). I'm looking for suitable styling hair product, and I'm unsure which product I should use.... I've tried gel, but with my curly hair state, it turns out to be very ugly. I'm try to have a straight like hairstyle. I do not wish to rebond my hair.

Is there any other way which I can reduce the roughness of my hair? I'm currently using Gatsby, Mat as my styling product, however, I find it very quite troublesome to style my hair with that.

My wish is to have a straight like hairstyle and as natural as possible. Preferable not gel like look type.

advice are appreciated.

I have a friend who needs suggestions on a simple and fun software which could be used to create a simple tutorial for her assignment. It doesn't matter if it is commercial or freeware (preferable freeware and not shareware).

Seven Different Planets:

Players Make Their Own Legend:
The quests in ROSE Online are affected by the activities of the user community. Every change in the game, such as item price, monster spawn rate, MVP monster spawn rate or the weather, is dramatically influenced by the actions of the users. Every major event that occurs on the 7 planets is recorded on the official website. The names of characters that played key roles in these events are displayed on the official website so that their legendary deeds will be recorded for posterity.

NPC Controlled Factions:
Factions differ from Clans because the faction community is controlled by NPCs rather than by the users. By joining factions, users can participate in various quests which drive the stories of the 7 planets. Every faction has a certain extent of authority on economy, politics, public orders, magic, arts and religion. Each faction has its own alliances and hostilities, and different events can occur as a result of the complexity of the relationships between factions.

Supply and Demand Economy:
Materials for creating items are distributed differently in various areas. Therefore, towns in different areas possess differing amounts of each material. As a result, when a town possesses too much of one material, the price of that material goes down automatically, and when the amount of a specific material becomes lower than expected, the town immediately activates a quest which encourages users to gather the materials to balance out the economy of the town. Users can take advantage of this economy system by buying an item at a low price in one town and selling the item at higher price in another town.

First and foremost, if you have played NaROSE, you will notice the most important difference between NaROSE and MyROSE is the skill tree. "The skill tree in NaROSE is revamped that is why the skill tree is different in comparison to MyROSE", said Wetko. This means you can't really compare what you have played in NaROSE and MyROSE. Though, MyROSE and IndoROSE (Indonesian Rush On Seven Episodes) are quite similar, taking into exception that the amount of content is still not up to date with IndoROSE. If you would like example on skill tree, I could give a brief description on it. For instance, in NaROSE, visitor class has the most basic active skill called 'Dual Scratch' but in MyROSE visitor class has completely no skill.

MyROSE comes into advantage when we talk about players. Although the community is still small, but the number of Malaysian players are growing each day and maybe even hours. Without doubt, the number of players signifies the number of friends you can have locally! Thus, it increases your chance to recruit party members almost every moment during the day!

On the other hand, MyROSE comes into advantage when we speak about connection and speed. Since the server is hosted locally, and officially hosted by TmNet, the chance for you to have lag is quite low! You can play with better performance.

Though there is few to compare, I must say there is also huge difference in items. I would say, drop rates and zullies currency is exceptionally competitive. The drop rates is low (As of 8th April 2009, the drop rate and zulie drop rate has been increased, I've yet to test it out). Prices of goods and services could be expensive. Nevertheless, a basic full set wooden cart would approach a cost of 1 million zullie.

I can't really conclude much, but as I've met some good friends in the game, I must say it's much better than NaROSE when it comes to social.

Latest update on my review:

One sentence on MyROSE. This game is pathetic and prematurely dead. Do not waste your time playing this game. There is no support, no updates on the websites. All they did was update their item mall. Then they started having a few lousy events.

Where is the password changer? A simple function such as this takes more than 1 month? You must be kidding. The website itself isn't even well prepared. This game does not deserved to be called 'Commercial Release'. TMNet has just officially screwed up this beautiful game.

Read about but I still don't understand.

1. To Toshiba people, I don't understand... how come you guys are selling those models in PC fair are not found over the internet...

I've search hard, but I don't see models like:

- Satellite M300-P4329R
- Satellite A300-P530

Highlighted in bold.. I can't find them. Any explanation? I went to Toshiba site and found a different model. I've search but there are no reviews as well.

2. Generally, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9300 and P8600.... I can't find why there is P and intel website doesn't write it.

My introduction

When I was young, I had my eyes set to become an architect. However, that was just my thinking last time. Today, I'm thinking differently. I'm 17 and I would like to finalize my decision.

I have 2 options to study:

- Architecture
- Software Engineering

Why I decided on architecture first? Well my answer for this is ridiculous. I know myself that I have very little interest in building designs and no curiosity why a architect chose to design his building in such a way. Though, I know it because I just like drawing and painting (art).

I then decided on Software Engineering after I found that I've fell in love for codes. My very first scripting began when I started playing Ragnarok Online and starting creating lots of NPC scripts. It was fun, and I definitely enjoy scripting NPCs. This was when I was 13-15. I then took a step further to start learning C++. Till today, I'm only an intermediate learner for C++. I have little knowledge of PHP, Java, HTML and Autoit Scripting.

About my school education, I'm okay, I'm not very smart, but I do love maths and physics, chemistry & bio a little.

That's about all on my background.

My choice

At such, I've created a path to study.:

1st path:
SPM (As many A's as possible) -> Taylor's College (Foundation in Computing) -> Bachelor in Computing (Software Engineering) 2+1 RMIT

2nd Path:
SPM (As many A's as possibe) -> Taylor's College (A Level) -> Bachelor in Computing (Software Engineering) RMIT

As for the above path, the only difference is if I should take A level or foundation. Till today, I've decided to take A level first just in case. Following That I've problem deciding my university. So far I can only think of RMIT.

Now, for my question.

1. A graduate of Software Engineering usually goes unemployed, I'm slightly worried bout it, what do you guyz think?
2. I currently only have my mind on Australia, which University in America is good?
3. If you are very professional in Software Engineering, usually what is the range of salary?
4. Is a software engineer's life stressful?

Note: I've read a few threads but I still find some questions quite unanswered.

Firewall used: Kaspersky Internet Security

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Mar 7 2008
Problem frequency: Quite Often
Problem description: Download stucks for majority of mp3 files, usually stucks at 99.80-99.99%

I've tested with two computers, and it happened to both coms. I confirm that it has something to do with my internet. This only happens to mp3, and video associated files that contains music. So far this happens quite often.

I've contacted Jaring but they said they are still working on it for almost 4 months now.
