Laptop Keep Auto Shutdown, prob remain after fix..

I was helping my friend that having problems with her lappy:

Model: ASUS F3F
OS: Windows Xp SP2

1. Laptop automatic shut down, no matter use what program. Normally occur after a peroid of usage.
2. after that will keep restart and only can till the bios page, no windows sign seen. need unplug and remove battery to shut it off.
3. rest for few day it functional again.
4. been reformat the harddik and reinstall. problem still occur after that.

However had been send to one of the lowyat shop for diagnosing and fix.
result:
1. said was motherboard problem. fix cost RM300
2. person that return lappy to my friend, not sure what was fix...
3. Problems still occur when trying to use it at home.

I wanna ask:
1. normally if this condition, what price will it be?
2. he only give one month warranty, is that normal in lowyat after fixing?
3. what suggestion?
4. IS THIS CONSIDER BEING CHEATED?

[WTA] Multiple network connection

Hi I am a University student.
I want to ask something regarding multiple network connection.

Recently my hostel was providing free WiFi Service.
However in our room already Had LAN service for online.

Currently I am using VIsta Home premium,
It automatically will connect all the connection if I plug in LAN and on my WiFi.

My question is, It showed three network was being connected.
1. LAN
2. LAN2
3. WiFi

I am not sure about what is the LAN 2.
In vista it showed all three of them can access internet.

I have a Inquiry is,
1. Can I connected to all network, will it become more faster? or cause traffic conflit?
2. In multiple connection, How can I assign specifically an browser using an specific network?
exmp:
a IE using LAN
b. Firefox using WiFI
c. Chrome using LAN2

is this possible?

why i need like this?
1. LAN speed is awesome, very smooth, but got proxy blocked all P2P sharing, only allow http downliad, even using thir party proxy to overide.
2. WiFi was having average speed, but no limit, all website accesible, all download running charm.

So am I able to do it under Vista?

I just brought a Sony Vaio VGN-NR120E from a forumer.
However he mention that still got international warranty until March next year,
He gave me the resit by E-Pheripheri Sdn. Bhd (written brought at this Feb)

However I would like to check about the warranty because i found the recovery partition got problem F10 when restart no effect..

BTW, want to ask about the AV mode button, why it also act like a normal power button?
just after login the media center show on the top?
Is not like Windows Media Center in DELL?means can direct watch movie without run Windows?

Anyone got any idea about the warranty?

What i Had done:
1. check on Sony Malaysia website, can't register because no have this model in the website.
2. called Sony customer service, she told me that the serial number for Malaysia Sony is start with 7, but mine is 2.

Planning to find E-Peripheri, but currently no time, so need help here.
Or any E-peripheri worker here?

Who also own this notebook can help?

Zen micro 5gb, firm ware problem

I had my Zen micro 5gb,

yesterday when i try to upgradedit firmware but it hangs.

then the player become in recovery mode..and it showned firmeware problem..

I tried to download the new firmware, however, itry to upgraded it agaian, it show, player was not connected..

i try a lot time, still not function.

It was not detected by my computer, but it become a portable devide with 20 mb storage only..

Now i had tried roll my WMP to 10 but still not helpful.

ANY Way can help?

I had chosed the reload firmware,, but the problem was my pc not respond to my player..

REALLY TRIED to search the solution.

HA, let me start this first.

Purpose of i buying a PDA phone:

1. I was a previos Palm Z72 user 4 years ago,

First, use it as a tools when study, can load a lot off ebook.

Second use it to listen song when tired (that time MP3 haven't famous yet, i even buy a 128Mb MP3 for RM200++)

Third, load some games to play.

Fouurth, taking picture, easy bringing when travel (that time camera very buggy)

2. I changed to Hp6828
Basically the purpose is similiar, but this gadget got FM radio, entertainment purpose.
beside that, palm going to no new program coming out change PPC to get better update.

got phone function somemore, so just need to take one gadget when go out, leave my N6600(Sabun) at bathroom.

3. Softbank X01HT
Aimed for it QWERTY keypad, found that no use to with PDA phone that no have keypad, when walking can't type SMS..

It got 3.5G somemore.
But basically, i use my Pda for study purpose. Just realise this PDA battery lifge no enough for my one day life..

I am using University hostel LAN to online,
Server had blocked a lot of thing from us to access.

I found that proxy server can sole the problem of unaccesable website and some downloading.

However, i was wonder that, how can I using BitTorrent of Thunder to download things??

I tried alreadly, the edk2, torrent and thunder code was normally unusable.

Need help.

I heard of Tunneling using SSH can run torrent by googling.

But i need know more detail, and where can I get a free SSH account??
