Harrier or Sorento?

Hey guys,

My mum has been thinking of changing her city to a 4WD. We thought of the Toyota Harrier >2004 model, definitely a 2nd hand one around 160-170K...coz thats the max she wants to spend. Dont really mind a 2nd hand as long as its a good unit with low mileage and no problems. A friend of my dad suggested we get the Naza Sorento. Its much cheaper at around RM 140K. But we never had a diesel and never owned a Naza/Kia. Many people tell us not to touch a Naza/Kia while some say its a great deal.

What do you guys think? The car's gotta be pretty powerful and comfortable.
The downside of the Harrier is its probably going to be a 3-4 year old car, which might start giving problems and you may never know the problems the car is giving, besides there is no warranty.

On the other hand, we are scared the Sorento might start giving lots of problems as some owners reported. I guess its a matter of luck.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers.
