I have tested it with a Malaysian DiGi SIM and it does work.

Package includes:
Everything you would find in the box

Price:
16GB 3GS - RM2800
32GB 3GS - RM3200

Warranty:
Australian Warranty. I can see the DSL light showing it is redialing and sometimes it takes up to 10 mins to get a steady DSL light again. I have no problems with my download/upload speeds, I can get 160 kbps on my 1Mb package. The problem seems to occur more frequent during "peak internet hours" eg. after 5pm

I'm not sure what is causing this problem, so far I have tried doing... but none seems to solve the problem.
1. Disconnect and power down router and modem
2. New phone cable for modem
3. Connect with/without splitter
4. ipconfig /flushdns
5.
Hey all,

I'm looking to respray and fix the curb rashes on my rims. I've been to Eneous and a few hardware stores but they don't seem to stock any paint made for wheels.

Do you know where I can find the paints other than buying them online? Or perhaps there is a Dupli Color distributor here?

Product Link

Thanks

Safari and LYN's "New Reply"

Hey all,

I don't know if this affects you if you are using another browser. Since using Safari in Leopard for my daily surfing, I noticed that in some cases, threads which you have read comes on marked as "new reply" when there isn't really any new post made. So I end up see-ing the little orange square box on the left of the title quite often. That results in having a whole bunch of threads with "new reply" which I actually read!

Any idea how this could be fixed? Cleaned the cache, reseted Safari, latest updates. No change!

Thanks

Self Rebooting Router

Hey all,

I have a 3Com 3CRWE554G72T Wireless G router. I had this router for almost 2 years now.

I'm currently having a problem of the router rebooting whenever I use Bittorrent over the wireless network. SOMETIMES, the router even resets to the default configuration (eg. everything is reset to factory config). This only happens when attempting Bit torrent over wireless connection.

As for my desktop which is wired directly to the router, I have no problems whatsoever.

I'm quite sure the problem lies with the router, not my modem, the Kasda 318D does not have the blinking DSL light whenever the reboot of router occurs.

Any thoughts on how I might rectify the problem? Much thanks in advance. I appreciate it.

Mac RAM FAQ

Chapter 1 : Introduction to Mac RAM

There is 2 types of RAM that you can install on your Mac.

(1) Apple Certified RAM
(2) Value RAM

Apple certified RAM are RAMs made specifically for Macs and users will most likely will not have trouble using them. Value RAM on the other hand, is memory commonly used for Windows laptops. However, since that transition of Macs to the Intel platform, many users have no problems using value RAM in their Macs.

The current iMac, Macbook and Macbook Pro use the same RAM. eg. You can use the same stick of RAM in the Macbook and the iMac. When purchasing RAM, make sure the RAM meets the following specifications...

PC2-5300
unbuffered
nonparity
200-pin
667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Chapter 2 : Installation of RAM

Macbook RAM Installation
Macbook Pro RAM Installation
Aluminium iMac RAM Installation
White iMac RAM Installation

Use the above links as a guide for RAM installation. Installing RAM is a relatively simple process. If you prefer, you can always bring your Mac to your Mac retailer to help you install the RAM. A small installation fee may be charged.

Chapter 3 : Additional Info

Where to buy RAM
Macsales.com (online store which sells cheap Apple Certified RAM)
Value RAM are easily available. You can find good deals at the Trade Zone.

List of Successful Value RAM Installed on Macs
* Kingston Value RAM
* Corsair Value RAM
* Mushkin Value RAM

Applications to Test RAM

Rember Download

You can use Rember to test if your RAM is working properly. However, Rember is known allow "bad RAM" to be tested as problem free.

Warranty
If you decide to self install RAM yourself, you WILL NOT void the warranty for you Mac. For instance, if your screen craps out on your in the future, you still CAN claim warranty. The only warranty that you will void is the original RAM of the Mac.

The newer Macs are designed so that RAM are user replaceable. However, before you proceed with your RAM upgrade, read your warranty just to be sure

FAQ

QUOTE

Q: How do I know if I have enough RAM?
A: Take a look at your Activity Monitor. The Page Outs should be zero (or minimal). Page Out refers to the task being written to the hard disk (virtual memory) since there is insufficient RAM. High Page Outs would be most certainly accompanied by lags and slow response from your Mac.

QUOTE

Q: Is it true that I need to use RAM in pairs? (eg. 1GB and 1GB, and not 1GB and 512MB)
A: No, that is not true at all. You can use RAM in whichever pairing you prefer. However, you would benefit from slight faster performance when running in paired/dual channel mode. Most people prefer to run in pairs.

Here are some benchmark results

Temperature Control states that my 2 Cores are running at 60+ degrees celcius.
Hey all,

I have a Sony Xplod CDX-2010X Single CD player. Age of it is 1 year plus. It is mint and fully functional, no dents or scratches to the face plate either. Bought it at the price of RM350 brand new.

My question is how much can I get if I trade in this unit for a new unit. Interesrted in the Pioneer DEH-1950G.

thanks in advance

Manual Shifting in AUTO ?

Hey all,

I was wondering by using the "1st" , "2nd" and hold gear settings to control the gear shifts in a Auto vehicle, would I damage the transmission?

Here's how it goes. The "1st" holds the 1st gear and 2nd gear, while the "2nd" holds the third and fourth gear.

I put the gear into "1st" and engage the hold gear setting. Then release the hold to get into 2nd gear, then shift to "2nd" to get into 3rd gear.... and so on...

Any thoughts?

Guide to Bypassing Torrent Shapping

As you all know, our lovely local ISP, Tmnet, decided that they should limit out P2P and Bitttorent downloads.

Here are the steps to get around it. Enjoy.

http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-encrypt-bittorrent-traffic/

And I suggest using the port 1720 if you will not be using Net Meeting.

Hey all,

I want to know what exactly is the term or name for those small spoilers that is currently coming stock with Perdanas and Waja. It's the single piece spoiler that you sometimes also see on modded BMW 3 series.

One more question, if i would like them on my car, how much would they cost? Where can I get them?

Thanks. I appreciate your time

As mentioned in the title, I'm looking for a FM transmitter for use in my car stereo. I know that this isn't quite the "audiophile" solution, but I have a few cars that I want to listen to my iPod and I don't think changing all the headunits is a wise desicion.

Back on topic, is there any FM transmitters worth recommending?

thanks in advance. really appreciate it.
