Transfer ICE to another car

Hi peeps,

Just wanna ask roughly how much will it cost to transfer my amp, woofer (not build in) and cd player to another car? Good audio shops in Subang or PJ recommendations would be a plus for me. Thanks in advance guys

No Claim Discount

Hi there,

I am thinking of selling my car for a better car but I don't know a clue on how to transfer the NCD...or even if I could transfer from my current car to the new one...any idea peeps? Transfering it to the new car would help in lowering the new car's insurance price is what I have in mind. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Apple iPod FireWire to USB adapter for Alpine

Hi there fellow mates, I got a question for you guys. As you all would know, Apple has changed its cables for the Ipod Nano 4th gen from firewire to USB which is a pain in the neck for backwards compatibility. That has caused a problem with my Alpine player with the Alpine KCE-422i cable. The KCE-422i cable would charge all firewire enabled Ipods but for the newer gen for Iphone 3G, Ipod Nano 4th gen as well as Ipod Touch 2nd gen which comes with USB charging...the KCE-422i only plays music but does not charge your Ipod/Iphone 3G.

I have and Ipod classic 5.5 gen that works wonderfully in my car but my Ipod Nano 4th gen only plays music but does NOT charge the Ipod!

I have done some research and found that there's a solution for this which is the Scosche Passport adapter...now various forums have stated that it works but there are some reviews of it that said it does not work...or partially work...whichever u wanna label it.

My question is...has anyone bought this Scosche Passport or something similiar and it works in yr car's Alpine player & Alpine KCE-422i cable? Does it play and charge your Ipod/Iphone?

PS: I know Alpine has its own Alpine KCX-422TR adapter but that costs almost twice as much as the Scosche.

Where to fix damaged rim?

Hi guys, do you know any shops in Subang or Petaling Jaya that fixes damaged rims? Some idiot tried to steal my rim and failed since I have lock nuts and as revenge he chip off a part of my rim I think the best they can do is to repaint it since they will not be able to replace the lost steel that is chipped off
