Soundproofing against low frequency noise

Hi all,

I got a ****ed up neighbour who doesnt have the word quiet in his vocabulary. Simply put, only a brick wall lies between me and the low frequency oildrum effect of indian music with too much bass. The problem lies in the fact that he doesnt understand the low frequency beats are very annoying. Is there any way to soundproof the low frequency noise effectively, short of getting a shotgun?

Pumps might be ripping you off.

I just filled up an empty red Wedco container (the proper ones for gasoline that u can find at ace hardware etc) which is marked at the 9.4L level.

To my horror the pump kept on going till 10.3L (at tat point, almost reached the "9.4L mark" but not yet - about 98% to the mark).

Subsequently when I checked my records for past few months I have also noticed that the same fuel pumped at this station (in Klang) has slightly lower mileage compared to another station in shah alam which I frequent as well.

I dun think evaporative losses while pumping at 9pm would cause such a big discrepancy of almost 1L.

Do I report this to esso or the consumer assoc.?

Buying RM10 of Diesel:

Hi,

I was wondering if a fleet card of some sort was required to buy diesel at the stated pump price? cos I need about RM10 worth of diesel for cleaning purposes. Or just go to counter and pay for it a la petrol?

Thanks in advance.
