Ok, after so many quiet months, i landed myself a fujifilm s100fs, yes, another prosumer.

(btw, i m still keeping my fz20 )

Again i was searching for a remote release cable, and i found this:

I really really need help here.

i have a program that i need to use for my job, but an error keeps coming up during data generation stage, involving encryption.

Here is the error (from the program):
Error During Encrypt.
The random number generated is not secure enough (insufficient entropy).
(80045022)

I did setup a seperate HDD with freshly install Windows XP and the program worked perfectly. So it is not a problem with the hardware.

Can any one help/suggest to me how to trace the root of this problem?
Is there anyway to reinstall only the windows cryptography part?

ps. I have a software that I must pay PER INSTALL, so a fresh windows xp install is only as a last resort.

Because i miss the boat, i could not get a commercial adaptor, so decided to DIY myself.

Here is the final thing:

I saw somewhere a simple DIY project for our lovely FZ20 and I thought to myself, how hard can it be?

So here it is:

Components:
1 x nokia handsfree
1 x 2000 ohm resistor
1 x 2700 ohm resistor
1 x 36000 ohm resistor (or 2 x 18000 ohm resistor)
2 x one press push button (where to find a push button that operates like the camera button?)
Total cost:RM14.60

Follow the following circuit:

and connect all the components together:

and you have a Panasonic Lumix FZ20 Remote Shutter Release, all done within 1 hour for RM14.60.

note: this DIY is electrically equivalent to the original Panasonic DMW-RS1 Remote Shutter Release.

just bought my first close up filter (hoya +4), shoot with panasonic FZ20

why the photos looks so not focused? and also like glowing one?

Just to share my DIY project

I was taking some flower pictures at night but the light from flash could not lightup the flower properly, hence I built this ring flash adaptor of mine.

the picture that made me DIY this ring flash adaptor:

So i spent some hours DIY this ring adaptor.

Basically, it diverts the light from normal flash to lightup area around the lens.

material used:
3 x liquid medicine bottle
1 x cover of plastic container
some tape
black & white paint

1. I did not take the step by step photos. completed prototype 2. first prototype was simply paper & container cover.

2. the adaptor fits nicely onto the flash unit with a soft snap mechanism

3.setup on the camera

4.test result from the setup (not as good as first prototype)

Any software can list out program accessing

I suspect some program is trying to access the internet.

So is there any program (freeware) out there that can list out programs currently accessing/trying to access the net?

(I have zone alarm that list all programs previously accessed the net, but it does not have a list of programs currently accessing the net)
