Compressed Air Can on Flight

Would like to know if compressed air cans can be brought up on plane. I just bought one to clean my electrical appliances, but just thought that it might be prohibited. I'll be taking MAS from KL to Miri. Can I get it through?

Windows Explorer constantly crashes

Hi, it's been going on for some time now. Explorer would just crash and requires a restart (of explorer, not the full restart). Most of the time it occurs is when I Alt-Tab but sometimes it just occurs randomly when I'm browsing folder. Any way to detect what's causing it? To fix it?

Erm, alright I need to buy a domain and set up a 1-page-only website. Is it possible to get it done in 24 hours? And problem is I've never set up a site before. How do I get the domain redirected? I need only 1MB ( ) to host, any free hosting that comes with purchase of domain?

EDIT: Most important question is it possible to have the domain linked up in 24 hours?

Hi, does anyone know where to find the logfile of chkdsk that ran on boot? I tried Google and results turned back to be the Event Viewer. However I can only find the logfile of the chkdsk that I ran in cmd there, but not boot.

Any idea where that missing 1GB is? I have previously enabled ReadyBoost when I had slightly less than 1GB space available. Never disabled it after that. But now it says that it's not enabled.

Constant BSOD, critical error

Hi, since last night after I've installed Universal Shield, I've been getting numerous BSODs, especially right after logging in to Windows. As my laptop (Dell Vostro 1500) restarts right after the BSOD, I didn't manage to get any details of the error. There were a couple of times too that it happened just all of a sudden. I have uninstalled Universal Shield earlier this noon, but there were still BSODs.

Just an hour or so ago, while watching a movie, things started to get all screwed up. There was a popup saying that there was a critical error and that Windows will restart in one minute, but it didn't. Even sounds went off; when moused over the volume icon, it stated No audio driver or something similar, can't really remember. I went to the start menu for the shut down options, but the options Restart, Sleep, Hibernate and Shut Down were all grayed out. Tried opening Task Manager but nothing happened, the mouse cursor became busy, and I couldn't click anything. After that I did a manual restart. Disk check deleted a couple of errors, and so far there has not been any BSODs or other problems yet.

Also tried to do a system restore, but all my previous restore points are gone. I have no firewall software installed, Windows firewall was previously deactivated as it suddenly interfered with my Internet connection a few months back; just reactivated it now. Have Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 installed with the latest definitions. I've been scanning my laptop almost everyday for the past few days, no detections. No anti-spyware software installed.

I have also started defragmenting my HDD last week, and a couple more times after that with Raxco PerfectDisk. But I doubt it has such side effects, right?

On a side note, I have realized since last night that my C:\ drive free space has been mysteriously going up and down few GBs. As I have very little free space left (873MB as of now), I see the difference quite clearly. It alternated between 300+MB to over 1.5GB a couple of times, then suddenly went over 2GB, then even went up to 4GB earlier on, but it's back down now

I'm really lost

Last week when I tumbled upon a RapidKL T523 at Summit the driver said that he doesn't go to Sunway Pyramid, whereas the route clearly states so So basically got me confused Help please

Wireless Router + Modem

Hi guys, would like to seek your recommendation for a wireless modem router. Going to have 1mb streamyx connection soon. I would like one with 4 LAN ports. No heavy file transfers in the network. Currently will be using in my room only, so I don't really need it to have wide coverage, but after my studies here, will bring it back home to use. 2-storey, I guess most routers are able? Budget up to RM200++.

Firefox 100% CPU Usage

Need help here I just installed KAV 7.0, previously using KAV 6.0. After the installation and some updates along with restarts (required), now my firefox uses up 100% CPU everytime I open it I didn't make any other changes. Any ideas?

Memory usage is still normal. It's just the CPU usage that's gone crazy. Using IE to post this now.

Hi guys, need some advice here. I have ordered a Dell Vostro 1500 and would like to upgrade my LCD to from WXGA (1280*800) to WXGA+ (1440*900). It costs RM120 but because my notebook has already been built, I will need to pay an extra of RM80, which totals up to RM200 for the upgrade and there would be 1~2 weeks delay.

I have read around and found out that WXGA+ is a pretty good resolution, but Dell seems to have some poor LCD manufacturers and it would be based on luck whether I would get an LG (good) or some other brands with poorer quality.

Would like to know if it is worth the upgrade. My usage would be surfing, chatting, movies, gaming, word processing and slight image editing from time to time. Personally I have yet to see a WXGA+ IRL, only through online photos. Please advice
