Windows XP Home Original

Hello guys,

I have some questions here ..

I just boot the Windows XP Home Original CD after restarting and it prompts me to setup the XP Home.

What I do is to delete my original partition and create new partition, then I setup the Windows XP Home in the new partition.

Everything is good, and I activated my Windows XP Home and also Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 with the activation code. (Original CD)

Now, I feel that something is not right and the computer seems to be loading in an abnormal speed during startup and shutting down.

I was thinking that some part of formatting which I've did wrongly, perhaps I should perform a format of Drive C by going to DOS typing "format C:" and reboot the PC with the Windows XP CD?

Ok, now my question : Can I activate the Windows XP Home and Microsoft Office 2007 for the second time?

Some Questions on Domain Renewal

Dear all,

My domain name registrant sent me an email asking for a RM60.00/year payment to renew my own domain name which he says it's going to expire by 25 November 2008 (Which the whois is showing 25 November 2009).

I remember I made a payment for a 2 years renewal and I believe that it's not possible for the domain to be renewed for 2 years until I make a full payment to the registrant company (Which is a normal protocol to be done before the registrant proceed)

Now, I am pretty confused of his service where he insists to have the payment of RM60.00/year in order to renew my domain name.

Registrar of Record: TUCOWS, INC.
Record last updated on 27-May-2008.
Record expires on 25-Nov-2009 (I see no point that I have to pay for a domain renewal!)
Record created on 25-Nov-2006.

Please understand that whois doesn’t proof any thing for your case. Our registrar auto renews all our domain names 30 days in advance from our credit card on their system used during purchase time. If our customer decides not to renew, we will then ask for a charge back refund from our registrar.

We insist that you send us the proof of payment bank transaction picture or pdf showing that you paid for 2 years or any communication email from us confirming your domain has been renewed for 2 years. We’ve double checked our sales database record and past year bank statement. It shows that your domain expires on 25/11/2008 and there isn’t any payment made for domain between 24/11/2007 to 26/11/2007.

1. In this case, can I actually ask for any information and host my domain name elsewhere with my 2nd supplier and get the 2nd supplier to renew the domain name for me?
2. Is there a such thing like 'Auto renews all the domain names 30 days in advance from the credit card system'?

What kind of information do I need to get from this unprofessional supplier?

Can someone who is good in domain names knowledge help me?

I was at Singapore for exhibition stand building supervision job 2 weeks ago.

I took a coach from Hartamas instead of AirAsia, which I have to spend time and go to the LCCT Sepang ; My total expenditure for a round trip to Singapore is at RM170.00. The coach is pretty comfortable for a long journey of 5 hours and it arrives at Corthorne Orchid, which I have to take a cab to the nearest MRT station at Newton.

After a few stations from Newton, I reached Bugis, the place where I've booked the hotel at the most convenient distance to the Suntec Convention Center in a walking distance.

With just about 5 minutes walk from my hotel, we pass by this place called Bugis Junction - Shopping Mall.

That evening, Paul met me up and we had a short rest at the hotel before we go for a short tour for that evening.

I was at Merlion Fullerton since I am 12 years old, which is approximately 12 years ago!

The next morning, we saw this man has the capabilities of writing using his mouth, hands and feet. He can write 2 different words at the same time!

For your information, Paul Tan is currently working with Yami Yogurt. He insists me to try the best recommended flavor, the peach! If you happened to drop by Singapore some day, do try a cup of Yami Yogurt at about SGD6.50 per cup (Medium Size)

At Suntec, there is a big fountain, where the visitors have to circle the fountain for 3 rounds, and it symbolizes good wealth.

At night, this is how the big fountain will look like.

At Esplanade, it's a very good photo taking spot for tourist. During my visit at Singapore last 2 weeks ago, there is a mid-autumn festival celebration and it's pretty happening! At night, you can even take a cab to Clarke Quay for some drinks! It was about SGD20.00+ for the trip from Bugis to Clarke Quay.

Domain Renewal takes how long?

Hi guys,

I made a request to my supplier and made payment to him to renew an expired domain name. The total payment is RM 60 (domain renewal) + RM60 (penalty to renew after expired).

My question is, why it takes more than 4/5 days to renew? Is that common or something is not right?
