As you can see all of my drives are 'hot swappable'.
The thing is, there's only 1 drive from the list that is connected via an external enclosure (esata). And 2 of the drives are actually running in RAID 0.

How do I get rid of this 'safely remove hardware' option?
I inadvertently fixed it the other day after reformatting my system. But after experimenting with the RAID settings in bios this thing appeared again, I think? Or maybe after I install my mobo's chipset?

OS is WinXP Pro 64, but I don't think that's relevant cause I had the same problem with the 32bit version.

Here's my how I configure my RAID in bios:

sata port:

1> Raid enabled (my optical drive)
2> Raid disabled (WD320 my system drive)
3> Raid disabled (esata seagte 160gb)
4> Raid disabled (wd raptor)
5> Raid enabled (seagate 160gb)
6> Raid enabled (seagate 160gb) --- 5 and 6 is my raid 0

FYI I put my optical drive on the first sata port because last time I could not boot direct from disc when I use any other ports except for the first 2.

Mobo is Biostar Tforce 570u.

btw since it carries a 10 years warranty, can I RMA it without showing the receipt? I have one that has become faulty and I've yet to find the receipt. Heck I don't even know where to RMA it.

Fitting a Scythe Ninja (Rev 1) to AM2

Now can someone help me out here... I have a rev1 Scythe Ninja, and as we all know it won't fit on AM2.
So I googled a bit and found out that this particular AM2 bracket from Thermalright would fit nicely.

So I bought this thing and WTH, it still won't fit! the Ninja fits to the bracket but it won't fit to the board. Seems like I'd need longer screws or something...

What is the proper way to make it fit? As in what type of screws or whatever do I need?
Longer screws would make it clip on to the board, I'm sure... but it will look weird.

My board is a Biostar 570u btw.

I'm pretty pissed off because the Ninja has been an ornament in my house for many months already, and I thought that I can finally use it.

As per topic, how do I increase the maximum number of connections (from other computers in the network) for a WinXP pc?
I've tried finding the option for this in gpedit, but couldn't find any.
