May I know what's the factor that will affect the maximum capacity of hard drive for a motherboard?
I cant find it on Intel website.. It only stated it can be installed with 4 hard drive but never mention the capacity.
Anyone try to install 4x500gb HDD in your cpu before?
do i need to get a true power PSU as well in order to support it?

i'm having problems with this dvd-burner.
it can't burn DL dvd..
whenever it almost completed, it will come out an error stated there is error in the power calibration area..
anyone using the same model and having the same problems?
i just found out that the power adaptor is from LITE-ON..
is this the original power adaptior or i been conned?

anyone know how to format this large capacity HDD through XP?
when i put in the XP cd it only detect the hdd as 130GB only..should i proceed or install with some driver 1st?

RAM problems

today i buy a 2nd hand DDR RAM fron fellow LYN forummer..when i plug it into my cpu which oredi have once stick apacer pc3200 256MB RAM, it return the blue screen and indicated hardware failure..so i removed the 256MB stick, left only with the apacer pc2700 512MB ram..this time it return no problems but it detect the ram only 256MB in windows..i using pc wizard and cpu-z to detect that ram, both of the software also return the ram as 512MB..so i wonder whether it's the ram problems,bios problems, or windows problems?anyone can give me some idea how to solved it?

hi need some guide and comment from all of you..
i plan to upgrade my home pc graphic cards..
currently that pc installed with nvidia vanta 32 MB....running XP on P4 1.7 GHz HP compaq desktop...which support only SDRAM (max 1GB)..the motherboard only support AGP 4x..
My question is:

1)any mid-end GC that suit me?budget RM200..used or new also fine with me..
2) does 8x GC can run with my pc?
3) most of the GC nowdays are running DDR and DDR2, issit any compatible issue with my PC ram which can only run in PC100 and PC133?

Hope can get some useful tips from you guys..

Twinhead Laptop Memory Upgrade

my wife is the owner of twinhead efio 2617ptk..with 128MB built in memory,and one empty slot..
i plan to upgrade her laptop coz its too slow to run xp..
i read the manual, it suggesting onli use SODIMM PC100 memory module,which is expensive for me..but when i check with CPUZ, i found out that the laptop is running DDR PC1600, which is very rare in the market...the chipset is able to run DDR266..
My question is, which is the most suitable memory for me to purchase?
other user from taiwan mainly running DDR266(PC2100) with this model of laptop..
if i using DDR333 will it spoilt the laptop?
