Let's say i need to give 1 month notice before i leave my company. But by mistake i gave my boss a shortfall notice, like 3 weeks, this means i need to pay for compensation. and my boss doesn't want to accept my compensation, he wants me to stay for one full month before i leave. And I already signed offer letter from the next company which I'm going to work in.

The question is:

Does my boss have the rights not to accept my compensation and force me to stay till one month?

Advice plz.
